About this listen

Break the new girl. That should be easy, right? Trash like her doesn’t belong at Burberry Prep. No, Marnye Reed is going down, and we plan to make a spectacle out of it. Let’s see who can make her fall in love first. Bet’s on. Any takers?

Take on the filthy rich boys. They’re the idols of the school, veritable gods on earth. Old money. New money. A rising star. These guys are nothing like the ones at my old school. I might come from nothing, but I’m determined to be someone, and I won’t let them get in my way. They say they’ll make my life a living hell; I think they mean to keep that promise.

Filthy Rich Boys is a 97,000 word reverse harem/mature high school bully romance novel. This is book one of four in the series. Contains foul language and sexual scenes; any sex featured is consensual.

Loved this book but never saw the ending coming. Bullying doesn't begin to describe what happens!

WOW! Never thought I could be so surprised!

I really enjoyed this story and the narrators. Even though they story was written in the h her POV, all the male conversations were done by a male narrator.

I'll be honest I wasn't sure what I was going to be listening to. I had a hard time with their ages, but it ended up being good. If you have a hard time with bullying it's not for you. It's a story you get sucked into a feel. It ended up being more than I expected with good twists. Narrators did a great job.

Not what I expected

Wow CM Stunich did it again! This book has everything you want from an academy bully RH. Can't wait to see what Marnye has in store for those rich boys next year? The narration was fantastic. Conner and Marnye did an amazing job!

Everything about this! I loved!! The narrators’ voices were great, and the story, well, I love it.

My only thing that could’ve made it better was if the narrators slightly altered their voices for each character. Sometimes they did it, like when the female narrator spoke for a teacher, it was an obviously older voice. But for the main characters, it wasn’t that different.

Love this book!

Both narrators were incredible. They fully performed and brought life to the characters. I was so happy when I discovered this was duet style narration. The plot and characters were great. This book has officially brought me out of my book slump and I loved it! I’d gladly listen to both narrators again because of their stellar performance.

LOVED IT

CM Stunich is a very interesting author for me. I love 80% of her work. I enjoy her jabs and foray into current civil issues and politics - as I’m a firm believer truth should be shoved in people’s faces whether they like it or not.

I’ve struggled with her lash outs as an author. So I’ve stepped back from fully supporting her as a fan in her groups, but I can’t stay away from her material. Stunich can write. I can’t deny that and she tends to speak to me through her words on the page.

This story? Was harsh. I knew what it was going into it. I had some serious eye roll moments when it came to Marni and some of her decisions. And even though the ending was given away in the beginning, therefore I knew she would be betrayed by the guys... it still hurt to experience. Just like it hurt the main character.

Stunich does that. She really does. She grips you as a reader and you can’t look away.

So I’m sitting here frustrated that book 2 isn’t out on audio right now. I know I need to get the kindle version, which sucks because I really don’t like reading books anymore. I need to listen for my lifestyle. But I’m so compelled to know what happens... I have no choice. I hopefully will know what happens soon.

As for Marnye Young? WOW. I struggled with her as a narrator for the Kit Davenport series - but she completely turned it around for this one. Her voice was so pleasant to listen to and the duet narration was awesome.

So good job on that! Good job all around.
