About this listen

Last week I was a waitress. Now I’m turning into a monster.

No one knows the truth, except the faceless man - a twisted sorcerer who’s hellbent on stealing my soul. He’s invaded my dreams, and now he’s trying to turn the pack against me.

With secrets and danger close on my heels, the only one who can help me tame my inner beast is Jaxson Laurent - the Chicago alpha. He could rule me with one look of his honey gold eyes, but I will never submit.

Do I dare trust him? Even though the heat between us is explosive, the hatred between our families runs deep. The last time we worked together I barely escaped with my life. And if it comes down to choosing me or his pack, I know who he’ll pick.

Time is ticking, and my life is hanging in the balance. Can I outmaneuver the sorcerer and make my fate my own?

Book two of four.

An action-packed urban fantasy, Untamed Fate features a kick-ass heroine, a dangerous alpha hero, and a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance.

Prepare to be drawn into a mysterious and magical world, full of demons, shifters, and sorcerers.

This story is set in the wider Dragon’s Gift universe created by Linsey Hall, and if you enjoyed the archaeology, history, and daring in her books, this adventure is for you!

not as good as the last one

the narrator is phenomenal however the main female character has really started to aggravate me. the fact that she is so defiant on every little thing with her and and Jackson's relationship is frustrating to listen to. I ended up skipping the last chapter completely. great fight scenes.

The story continues!

I am enjoying the story progression, and the way things are heating up between the two main characters. I will continue the series.

Interesting

It’s an interesting storyline, and am debating if I continue with the rest of the series. There are a fee things that oft make me turn my eyes upward. The main characters constant moaning “it’s too much” or “i can’t breathe” or her ability to go from I love and can’t live without … to I hate you and don’t get near me … is so immature that it is cringeworthy. Lastly… the CONSTANT repetition of what we already know. What was said four times in the first book… now repeated five times in the second? UGH!!!! Also… pulling a new character, or new abilities out of the blue here and there, makes it seem like the book was not properly planned. But alas! Interesting none the less.

Great Series

I can’t wait for the next book. I just wish Savanna would become an badass faster. They haven’t really show her powers that much but it’s a great book. Love this narrator also.

Good Series

This has been a good series so far. Jaxon and Savannah are still struggling with their relationship but this episode gives them a clearer understanding of what they mean to each other. The reason why I gave four stars for the story was because there were one or two scenes that left me wondering if they were really necessary to the story. Even so, I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. The narrators are great. I love it when they are two.

Untamed Fate

I am absolutely enamored with this series. The first book Wolf Marked absolutely dug it’s claws into me deep and I can’t get enough of this series! The flow of the story was perfect. The plot of the story really thickens in this book and we get so much more information. There are still plenty of things that are a mystery and I am absolutely looking forward to uncovering them as the series progresses in the next installment.I enjoyed the way that the author have created the storyline for this series.she did an outstanding job building this world and did a fantastic job plotting the characters. The narration on this series is outstanding. It very welcoming and ultimately mesmerizing. They did such an amazing job on bringing the characters to life. I grew so attached to the characters within this book.Savannah is one of my favorite kinds of female main characters. She is strong willed, brave, independent and has such a good heart. She can be fierce when she needs to be and she doesn’t back down for anything.I loved Jaxson’s character in this book as well.Especially Sam and Casey.some of the characters are still very mysterious.with so much turmoil over loyalties and bad blood between the families. It honestly is hard sometimes to tell who can be trusted.Savannah and Jaxson have an electric almost searing chemistry.I am so here for the forbidden love and enemies to lovers vibe within this story.Their banter is delicious and the push and pull that they have is so tantalizing. There are some massive developments for Savannah and Jaxson’s love story within this book. There was also a tiny bit of a spark of promise that Sam and Casey might be a love interest at some point. I highly recommend everyone to check this series out.

Such a riveting listen!

This was such a addicting listen. I honestly hated having to pause. The narrators Samantha and Jeffery are fantastic at portraying both main characters, Savannah and Jaxson.
The second installment certainly amps up on the action and it was a fast pace for me. I thoroughly enjoyed going to all the places that Savannah and Jaxson were traveling to.
I’m eager to see what happens between Savannah and Jaxson. I’m certainly invested with those two.
Looking forward to listening to the next book.
