About this listen

If James Patterson and Janet Evanovich had a love child.... Meet Jessica James.

Jessica James is back in award-winning author Kelly Oliver's latest fast-paced thrill ride.

Donors to the new world-class Chicago museum of Russian art are dropping like flies, and Jessica is at the center of the carnage. Can she track down the killer before she falls into his trap?

Speaking of traps, this doozy puts Jessica in the middle of a love triangle she'd do anything to avoid.

In her latest outing, Jessica once again puts her boots in the stirrups and cracks the whip on first-class entertainment.

Mystery, suspense, action, adventure, romance, and laugh-out-loud humor. What more could you want in a pause-resister? A riveting suspense novel that keeps you guessing until the end.

Mispronunciation of words by the reader detracted from the story. Reader needs Hooked on Phonics.

Get a narrator that can read!!!!

The book was ok... however, mispronounced words in every chapter!!! So frustrating!!!! Obviously, no one listened to this prior to release!

Good stories, but....

These are good stories, that’s why I’ve listened to all 5 books, but, the narrator is a bit hard to listen to. She just reading, no emotion and character voices are not consistent between books. These would have been better with a better narrator.

Change of character’s voice not good!

Good story plot but the person picked to do the Russian poker game woman ( I’m sorry I just had a memory loss for her name) instead of the regular reader was just not right for this part. Bring the original reader back . Same for the main character. She normally the whiny voice ( like a little girls voice) but she got a deeper voice this time around and that was actually a plus but then they have the Russian girl the whiny voice instead of the regular person who made this character very sexy and deeper and with a foreign accent in all the other books.

Mispronounced words abound!

There wasn’t much of a plot and killed off interesting characters. Poor editing of audio. The narrator’s mispronunciation of words made the listen cringeworthy. Credits are too expensive to waste on poor quality.
