About this listen

Viktor Nikulin was only 12-years-old when he first met the no-nonsense mob princess of his dreams. From the very moment, she threw a rock between his eyes, effectively bringing him to his knees, his heart belonged to her and only her. No other woman would ever compete with Nas, and that scared the living hell out of him.

Nastasia Leokov has openly loved Vik all of her life. She has given herself to him, body and soul, and for the longest time, she decided that if the sweet and handsome - yet aloof - Vik was not ready for commitment, she would give him time. Until now. Time is up for Vik. Nas cuts the cord. A decision is made. Winning Nas back won’t be easy but Vik quickly realizes he can’t lose her.

This is a great second book!!!

Miss Aurora did not disappoint. After "Lev" I fell in love with her and now I am on the journey to read everything she wrote (: this book is more of a love story then spice but and it’s a good one. I wish Rom will be book no. 3 just saying (:

A little lengthy

This is the second book of the series. I really enjoyed the first book a ton (Lev)! But for some reason I felt like this book was about 3 hours too long.

I do like how the author includes updates on many of the other characters though. You don’t see that in most other books.

I also think the narrator did a great job.

⭐️⭐️⭐️.1/2 WAY TOO LONG!!!

I actually really enjoyed this addition to the series but……. I dis skip a huge portion!! The baseline story and characters could have been 5 + but there is far too much interior blather from the very silly self absorbed lead female, who does not snap out of her shit until late in the book.
That being said I do think it is worth the credit just be prepared to skip a lot of pages!! Vik is an awesome character , the brothers and even the bad guy are great characters and the “Mafia” connection of the story is well done!
The narration is so incredible , mostly by Brentmore, She can flow back and forth between characters and accents flawlessly !!
Not enough Lance for my liking but as I said Samantha Brentmore could have done it all by herself!!
I will definitely be getting the next installment as well! Just hope I don’t have to wait years again🤷‍♀️
