Join us on a Space Fantasy LitRPG adventure backdropped into the Cthulhu Mythos. (Slow Burn, Slice of Life Adventure, Unique Power Sets, GameLit)

After the great breaking, the world had fallen out of favor of the gods. The people of Earth U1P2B1 were isolated from the rest of the universe, the System blocking their inter-dimensional travel. This lack of favor and loss of power trickled down as time passed and more scamps were born. The scamps are ordinary humans who never awakened They were rejected by the System and the power it has to offer. Defenseless, these humans try to survive in a world of powerful awakened, twisted gods, Kaiju monsters, and insanity. Gideon is one such human, this is his story.

Void Verse is a world of Sword and Sorcery within the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft. It is a world of knights in space jumping through parallel universes in their never-ending conflict with the Old Ones, Gods of madness, insanity, and death.

Why do so many authors feel that their main character needs to have a love interest. Why do so many authors have so many women be interested in the main character.

All of the excerpts from Lovecraft books were disorienting and confusing, and I still don’t understand what they have to do with the overall storyline of the book.

Storyline has a lot of potential but falls short due to all the girl drama and unnecessary Lovecraft excerpts.

It’s my fault. I normally skip any book that has the main character as a teenager and this time I didn’t skip it, but listen to it. They all have the same thing in common / weird teenage drama that takes away from the overall storyline. It’s disappointing and leaves me frustrated. I will not bother with book 2.

Story is great. The AI narrator is terrible though. I'm sure the software will improve with time, but currently it is off putting
