About this listen

Walking in Unity is about bringing Christ-centered answers to issues of race and racism. Drawing a clear distinction between the secular culture's instructions for agreement and Scripture's call for unity, authors Moniqe Duson and Krista Bontrager help you explore what the Bible really says about ethnic harmony and how Christians ultimately find their common identity in Christ.

In this encouraging and accessible guide, you will explore the tough issues that have made their way from the larger culture into the pews of local unsuspecting churches—reparations, interethnic families, the multicultural church, and systemic racism—all while keeping Christ at the center. You will also be equipped with insights and guidelines for engaging in constructive dialogue with others.

As you engage this Christ-centered model for ethnic unity, you will discover more freedom and joy in your cross-cultural friendships than you ever thought possible.

Complexities of racism clarified through a biblical lens

The body of Christ needs this book which presents biblical truth & historical fact with the compassionate grace of Jesus as the lens through which we should filter all conversations, thoughts, and actions about racism and teaches what true unity is based on scripture.

Sound biblical insight on navigating race in our current culture

This is a much needed resource on what should be the church’s response to racial reconciliation, reflected in God‘s truth about identity and the role that race plays in it. I will be buying a copy of this book for our pastor, and look forward to reading this in our small group.

Practical, endearing, & solidly biblical

Quick, easy read (listen) with sound practical advice from a solidly biblical perspective on how to view and approach our culture’s obsession with race.

I discovered CFBU during the summer of 2020. Krista & Monique provided such clear answers to many questions I had about what the world was witnessing at that time. I’ve been an occasional listener to their podcast ever since (as time permits). So I knew the content of the book would be solid and well researched. It is.

But I also really enjoyed the book to learn the back story of how these two ladies met… and how their ministry began. It’s an endearing story with a supernatural beginning.
Overall the book is very well done and i highly recommend.
