Publisher's summary

Wallflower (wohl-flou-erh): Identifier for someone who is shy and/or awkward. For reference, see Viola Kent.

Seventeen-year-old Viola Kent likes being invisible. Well, not literally, but she's content being a loner, reading her books, and hanging out with the animals at the shelter. She just wants to keep her head down and get through her senior year at Durham High.

Driving Dare Frost to school every day wasn't part of the plan. And when Viola finds out her dad recruited Dare, his number one player, to be her friend? Her inner Slytherin demands revenge.

The solution: Get Dare to be her fake boyfriend.

Convincing the star athlete to pretend is easier than she'd thought it would be. The hard part is protecting her heart. With every word, touch, and kiss, Viola's feelings become more real.

The problem: Viola knows she's falling for Dare - but he doesn't believe in love.

This book features two sets of soulmates, one happy pooch named Hermione, so many sizzling kisses, and answers the question: Can a dork and a jock fake their way to true love?

That Was Cute !!

Oh My Heart that was really cute and I was really in the mood for this kind of book
So the story is about Violet, she is a loner and she liked being a nerd without any friends, until Dare Frost pops in her life out of the blue .. he follows her everywhere being extra nice and wanting to be her friend, but then she discovers that her father actually hired him to be her friend, so viola plots a revenge on her father .. by pretending to be in love with Dare
it really gave me "10 things I hate about you" vibe .. it was fun and light and full of laughable scenes .. my favorite quote was " I will friend you so hard no other friend will compare" LOL
this author is amazing and can't wait to read more of her books
The narrator was really nice and she did bring those character to life .. amazing work

Flower

Viola and Dare. He plays soccer, she plays cello. He doesn’t believe in love. She loves working at an animal shelter. But her dad is the soccer coach. And she has just declared her love for someone else. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dare

This is a cute story. I love the characters especially Dare. I love that Becks and Sally from Adorkable are Voila parents.

Honesty for once

genre: fake teen romance
age: 13+
setting: school and around the city

It is senior year and she is a wallflower who spends her days at the dog shelter, plauing the cello, or hanging with her mom. Her dad as the soccer coach asks a player to be her friend. Of course she finds out and asks him to be her fake boyfriend as revenge. Inevitably her feelings get tangled and it is hard to tell if there is hope for more.

I consider this a rare find. Neither main character was an obnoxious unlikeable teen. They didn't make terrible mistakes because they couldn't stop lying. All the other friends were nice and there was only a couple mean girls that didn't really get in the way. It was a great read for anyone who likes fake romance and really wants a better book.
