Great written narrative by Greg Cox and a really fantastic performance by Mr. Szarabajka. Better than the movie - and I loved the movie!

Best of what sci-fi can be

Character development was good. It was a nice addition to series. I guess now I need to watch the movie.

This surprisingly good novel was both moving and beautiful. It had me in tears. Better than the movie, I'm sure

I’m a long time fan of all the Planet of the Ape movies. The narrator did a great job in the telling of this story

Great narrative telling of the story

I am a huge planet of the apes fan and it was great to "read" the book without turning pages, and when I wanted to go back over a section, it was great having the 30 second rewind button. The story itself was great, everything I had hoped for. Apes together, strong!

If you loved the movie, this fills in some blanks

This is one of the very rare occasions where the book is not better than the movie in that the performances and visuals of the movie are unparalleled. That being said, getting an infinitesimal amount more of the thoughts of the characters coupled with the quality of the story itself makes this a worthwhile read. The voice actor is a little too monotone for me, but good.

Book and movie are exceptional

I loved this book. Having seen the movie countless times I NEVER linked the doll with what happened to the Colonel. It was mind blowing for me. Even if you have seen the movie read it anyway. Will give you details of course that the movie can't.

A great listen
