How to Overcome Procrastination and Depression and Feel Good About Yourself Again

This is a 31-day guide to feeling better about yourself. If you are depressed, constantly procrastinating, and just not happy with your life, then this 31-day plan is perfect for you. The key to overcoming depression and procrastination is found in making small changes in your daily routine.

Do you know that you can't look to anyone to make you happy? All humans will fail us. That's why you have to focus on making changes in your life to be happier.

The way to be successful in overcoming procrastination and depression and being a happier person is discovered through making small changes in your daily routine. This guide is designed to do just that: help you learn how to be happier through making one change per day for the next 31 days. As you make these changes, you will be happier - guaranteed.

Here are a couple of tips from the book:

  • Today, keep the focus on your physical appearance. When you look good, you will feel better about yourself. Have you ever heard the expression "dress for success"? Even if you are at home all day, don't just lounge around in your old clothes or pajamas all day.
  • The first thing to do in the morning is to make the bed and straighten things up a bit. One of the sure signs of being depressed is when you just let things around the house build into a big a mess. If you can make a decision to just do 15 minutes' worth of household chores first thing in the morning, I assure you that you will feel better.

As you can see, the author writes in a very straightforward way. Her tips have helped tens of thousands of people learn how to stop being depressed, stop procrastinating, and be happier.

Tips to uplift

If you could sum up Ways to Feel Better: How to Overcome Procrastination, Stop Being Depressed and Feel Better About Yourself in three words, what would they be?

Uplifting, motivational, memorable

What about Sheri Sims’s performance did you like?

This is a book about getting happy and her voice just oozes happiness! It made me smile at just how jolly she sounded, which was a good start. She may actually sound too happy for some people, I can imagine it might be a little annoying if you were feeling very down and depressed, but I found it uplifting.

Aside from her tone of voice, it's clearly narrated and it's not stilted like some other audio books can be. The narrative flows well, and even though she's narrating someone else's works, you do feel as if she's talking to you from the heart.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Ways to Feel Better: How to Overcome Procrastination, Stop Being Depressed and Feel Better About Yourself?

I listen to a lot of self-help books and always manage to take something away from each one. This is no exception.I can't say it's changed my life, but it has enhanced it in some small ways.

Any additional comments?

Over 30 tips, clearly narrated. It might not solve all your problems, but it is worth a listen.
