Very good book!!!

A great reminder that keeping up with the Jones' is an unrealistic expectation and provides practical tips on how to manage your money and live the life you want.I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a change, especially when it comes to their financial lifestyles. If everyone lived by these simple rules then life would be simple, not always easy but fun when you live the results.

Best book about habit change I have ever listen!!!

This is a very interesting book that reports on studies performed in the medical field about how our brains work without knowing it because we're doing something out of habit. For me, it helped to understand my dieting failures and how to rethink the cues that set me off when I'm not hungry.I like the way the author connects real life stories to the researchs, to the scientific studies to make his points. A great book for anyone that would like to improve any aspect of their life.

A profound and inspiring action-oriented book!!!!!

The most impactful book I've ever read about habits was The Power of Habit....and then Atomic Habits came along. Laurel takes everything I loved about The Power of Habit and expands on it here. The book is chock full of real, practical, and actional advice anyone can take to add more good habits and tweak bad habits over the long term.Side note: I also love how each chapters start out with a short story relevant to the chapter topic. I look forward to re-reading this book again and reviewing all of my highlighted sections.

Good information about habits!!!

What a great book to help make your habits work for you. I so relate to the bad habit of going to chocolate to make me feel happier as is explained in the authors book. With the help of this book, I have an understanding of how my habits can actually help me if I am intentional in hacking them. From the beginning to the end of the book, there are many examples and steps to really make your habits work for you.The steps to breaking bad habits are very easy to follow and understand. I loved the the 9 step guide in particular to help with finally breaking bad habits. The book is well written and thought out. I highly recommend adding this book to your collection.

Great insights in an approachable form!!!!

I found myself interested in each story he told, I especially love the studies about dementia and how even those who have lost their memory, have not lost their habits. It's pointed me in a direction that I really believe will help me to make lasting changes in my life. If you are struggling at all with making changes in your own life I highly recommend this book! Also, the references used in this book are given in story format so it's an easy read for those struggle to read through an entire book.
