Publisher's summary

The super hero book you need to listen to right now!

"An enjoyable, exciting, and action-packed read...at its core, just fun.” (Associated Press)

An extraordinary and emotional adventure about unlikely friends and the power of choosing who you want to be.

Jamie woke up in an empty apartment with no memory and only a few clues to his identity, but with the ability to read and erase other people’s memories - a power he uses to hold up banks to buy coffee, cat food and books.

Zoe is also searching for her past, and using her abilities of speed and strength…to deliver fast food. And she’ll occasionally put on a cool suit and beat up bad guys, if she feels like it.

When the archrivals meet in a memory-loss support group, they realize the only way to reveal their hidden pasts might be through each other. As they uncover an ongoing threat, suddenly much more is at stake than their fragile friendship. With countless people at risk, Zoe and Jamie will have to recognize that sometimes being a hero starts with trusting someone else - and yourself.

Meh

The plot moved too slowly, and the author had trouble figuring out how to end the story. The set up was interesting for a while but then became too convoluted and difficult to follow. I liked the characters and the narrator but meh.

I hope there is a sequel

The characters had were well written. The story will keep you guessing. I laughed and cried and would love to read more stories set in this world. The narrator did a wonderful job.

Horrible narration. Dumb story.

Is this marketed as a children’s book? Bc it is. Not worth the annoyance of listening.

It's a fun book. What more can you want?

Is it predictable at times? Yeah, maybe. Even so, I'm a sucker for superheroes, and I found myself laughing a good amount. Narrator also does a great job, so I recommend it if you just need a nice, light, fun read. I'll probably listen/read again just to get more of the characters cause, again, it's just a ton of fun!

Ugh

I tried and tried but the story was hard to follow and slow I made it with 2 hours left, and I just had no desire to finish… the premise had promise though.

The writer has a lot in common with his main characters in that he attempts this adventure with no structure of story in mind.

This book was so boring I need a refund. The narrator sounds like how a female child pretending to be a male adult sounds. That’s not voice acting. I fell asleep so many times I had to keep repeating chapters. I didn’t understand the villain’s plot.
