About this listen

Bethany and Gary had a lot in common. Both were independent-minded and self-sufficient. They were well aware of the dangers in the world and did what they could to be ready for anything, just in case.

As the world spiraled out of control, it appeared their worst fears were coming true before their very eyes, just as they were beginning to fall in love and begin their lives together.

When disaster struck, they would find their preparations and their love would be tested, but would their struggle to survive bring them closer together or tear them apart?

The truth is, in a world of “what ifs”, anything could happen.

A good story.

I wish I was was younger and physically able to some of the ideas 💡 in the story. I would love ❤ to be able to do some of the ideas talked about in the story..

This was ok at best

Things in this book was just OK. Two rich people save the world. If you are Rich, you survive. Too perfect and last minute buying of all survival things needed to survive anything.

Duplacated

This book is narated by a female and was duplacated in
book 9 which is narated by a man, which i think is
a superier naration! And the cover is better!

Really enjoyed this novel.

I have read many PA novels and this was the most enjoyable! I will listen to it many times!

Having a hard time recommending at all.

Overall: I finished it, but I used the 'forward' button more than a few times. Still, it managed to tell a basic story without the use of gratuitous profanity (isn't that redundant?). Performance: Not really my thing to listen to the nasal redneck vocals, and she seems to have not read through the dialogs much, placing the emphasis in the wrong places - so much that it didn't come across as a way the average person would actually speak. Ever. Story: Really, after listening to dozens in this genre, I found it lacking in accuracy, timeline tracking, and basic 'suspension of disbelief' believability for this type of writing. Frankly, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone I know. Also, the author giving himself a plug in the book...kind of tacky and tedious rather than funny.
