About this listen

Being stolen from Earth has taught me that there's nothing in this universe to be trusted. Not people, not promises. So I make sure that I'm prepared for the worst at all times. I fill my homestead with pit traps. I make weapons for fun. I avoid my friendly neighbors.

And I never leave my house if I can help it.

So when I find a deathly-ill cat alien on my living room floor, I do what any sensible human woman would do. I put a stun-stick to his jock and demand answers.

He should be scared. Terrified. So why is this idiot flirting with me?

Contains mature themes.

One of my very favorites in the Risdaverse series ♥️🔥

Omg no one writes a story like Ruby Dixon! She makes alien abduction scary and the dawn of a new horizon all at the same time. I can’t tell you how much I love Tabitha her reactions seem the most real to me after being abducted by aliens and treated horrible. She’s fierce and determined to never be hurt again. But it also means never letting anyone in either and that can be lonely. Jrrru is. Praxiian male and his brother has settled down with a human on Risda III. He wants be be close to his only family but living with newly mated pair is horrible. After having an allergic reaction to a certain weed he wonders off and ends up getting sick 🤢 on Tabitha’s door step. What happens next is nothing short of sweet and hilariously funny all at the same time. They are purrfext for one another. She challenges him to be a better male and he makes her feel seen and safe. But the dialogue between them will bring a smile to your face and you’ll laugh out loud more times that you can count Jillian Macie and Mason Lloyd do an absolutely job with the narrations. Totally worth the purchase. ♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️🔥♥️

Another one!!!

Ruby Dixon is the GOAT! This was yet another delightfully, sweet and spicy Tale. Narrators were some of my favorites Mr Lloyd and Ms. Macie

Yay, another Risdaverse novella!

These heroines on Risda III are quite entertaining. Tabitha, in particular, is hella fierce, and I absolutely love that for her . . . And the Praxiian she ends up mated to.

4.5 stars

Sweetest, slowest burn

Even though Jrrru is the cat-alien, it’s Tabitha that behaves like a persnickety kitty. Jrrru is endlessly patient, respectful, and accepting of everything thing Tabitha needs to feel safe. Tabitha takes for…ev…er to get past her (understandable) trauma and let Jrrru in. This makes for a slow, sweet story.
While I appreciate the variety of MCs in this series, I think I preferred the previous novella,
When She’s Fearless, with Jrrru’s brother Hrrrusek- that one was friskier and funnier.
