Glenn Holloway's predictable life ended the day he confessed his homosexuality to his family. As if that wasn't enough, he then poured salt in the wound by walking away from the ranch he'd grown up on, to open the restaurant he'd always dreamed of. Without support from his father and brother, and too proud to accept assistance from anyone else, he had to start from scratch. Over time things worked out. Glenn successfully built a strong business, created a new home, and forged a life he could be proud of.
Despite his success, his estrangement from the Holloways is still a sore spot he can't quite heal, and a called-in favor becomes Glenn's worst nightmare. Caught in a promise, Glenn returns to his roots to deal with Rand Holloway and comes face-to-face with Mac Gentry, a man far too appealing for Glenn's own good. It could all lead to disaster - disaster for his tenuous reconnection with his family and for the desire he didn't know he held in his heart.

What made the experience of listening to When the Dust Settles the most enjoyable?
Sean Crisden makes listening to any book wonderful, but I love his cowboy characters the best almost. This is a great story although there were a few gaps. What other book might you compare When the Dust Settles to and why?
Timing and After the Sunset. Just loved they way the story evolved in the book series.Have you listened to any of Sean Crisden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have many books read by Sean. He always gets an A+Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Glen rescues Stef and Wyatt. It was a hold your breath moment. Second was when Glen finally realized his family really wanted him around.Any additional comments?
Loved this book as with the other two in the series, BUT, was a bit disappointed in the gaps. I wanted to know more about the two years between the 2nd and 3rd book,, Rand and Stef's baby, Everett getting married, Mac's preference, Glen coming out to his family, starting the restuarant and meeting the kids he had working for him. What, why, how ?? Wish there had been more detailsCowboys, What's not to like ??
