In her kitchen at the Red Door Inn, executive chef Caden Holt is calm, collected, and competent. But when her boss asks her to show off their beautiful island to impress a visiting travel writer and save the inn, Caden is forced to face a world much bigger than her kitchen - and a man who makes her wish she was beautiful.
Journalist Adam Jacobs is on a forced sabbatical on Prince Edward Island. He's also on assignment to uncover a story. Instead he's falling in love with the island's red shores and Caden's sweets.
When Caden discovers Adam isn't who she thought he was, she realizes that the article he's writing could do more than ruin the inn's chances for survival - it might also break her heart.

This book is about Caden (Marie's best friend and the chef for the red door inn) she is a really good chef deapite never having a proper learning in that field, now she is the only one who can sace the inn from closing by impressing a journalist to write a good review for the inn
Adam is supposed to be that journalist, but he came for a different piece all together, but the more he get to know Caden and the Island he begins to queation if his career is the right path for him afterall
the book was simple, nothing was really happening, but I like Prince Edward Island and the book does does feature it a lot
I feel like I will forget this series soon because neither the books or the writing are memorable, but Prince Edward Island always have my heart
