About this listen

When Hatch is tasked with finding a missing girl, she finds a small town's dark secret holds the key. To expose it, Hatch must put everything on the line.

The Wall Street Journal best-selling series continues!

For Hatch, normal is never easy. But in the months since surviving a deadly encounter atop an Alaskan glacier, she's settled into her life in Coronado. With Cruise's team still physically recovering and out of commission, Hatch receives her first mission: to find a missing girl who disappeared after a church picnic.

Hatch finds herself in Jericho Falls, a small town outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The small town carries a dark secret. As she seeks to expose it, Hatch finds that there are forces willing to do anything to keep that from happening. To save the missing girl, Hatch must face her past as it catches up to her and forces her to make a choice that will forever change her future.

A series of tornadoes threaten to rip through town as Hatch goes on the hunt. Forces of nature and man set out to stop her. And Hatch finds that honoring her code may come at a cost. Her life.

Set at the relentless pace fans have come to love, Hatch is back and better than ever. Try not to get swept up in the Whirlwind!

Good

So,how many times does Hatch Continue to get Into dire circumstances and Thinks she is the only one who can fix what's broken by herself?
Lordy, this character needs to realize she has people she can rely on to help who also has strengths like she does.
I hope this character evolves and learns to trust.
Great storylines and plots and LOVING the twists, I hope there is more.

Whirlwind Excitement

Well done and a great story. I was not sure about starting the Hatch series, but I am glad I did.

Good book in a good series

Although I didn't like as much as the other Rachel Hatch books, I enjoyed Dalton Savage. He could have his own series

contrived

i love the hatch series but the books are starting to get predictable and linear. moreover, hatch seems to have evolved from someone who is trying to do her best in the face of adversity to right the wrongs she sees, to someone with a narcissistic bent on forcing everyone to do things her way, just because her gut tells her that's how its going to go. The end justifies the means, even if her family, love interests, and others swept up in her force are adversely affected. finally, the circumstances that come up in the most recent stories are just a little too hokie. whether its earthquakes in alaska or tornados in tennessee, it cheapens the story line of an otherwise engaging plot. surely the author can do better.

Just gets better!

Rachelle is awesome. The heart she has for children and the innocent is what you hope almost all of society has! The books just keep getting better and better. The slow burn romance is just enough. The suspense is so great and the mystery. This series is worth every penny!

Rachel Hatch Brings Justice Again

Strange twist with the religious cult! Travis hires Rachel to find his missing daughter. Gets good when Rachel runs into Savage again. This novel is a transition story to her new job.

Please keep writing Hatch books!

I love her character. I’ve followed her adventures throughout each book. She’s a strong, no-holds-barred woman who also has a tender side.

Rachel Hatch Can Catch the Wind

I love this character and the depth that the authors have been able to instill into her. She's an amazing warrior, but full of heart and able to see within herself areas of darkness that still need the light shined on them.

While this story was good, it wasn't my favorite Hatch book by any means. For one thing, it was way too short. I didn't really have time to develop any kind of rapport with the characters of this story that were new to me. I liked some of the twists and turns, but the ending didn't wow me.

Now that Dalton Savage has his own series starting up, be aware that this story takes place before the first Savage book. So, if both are on your TBR list, start with this one to stay within sequence. Not that it matters a great deal, but some of us are picky about reading serial characters out of order.

If you're new to Rachel Hatch and Dalton Savage, I wouldn't recommend starting here, simply because this tale doesn't feature the depth and definition of the average Hatch book. But if you're a fan of the series, this one is still worth the time and attention.

Okay, but not as good as others

This installment felt forced and abbreviated. Lacked the usual character development present in the previous books. But still an okay listen if you already enjoy the series.
