About this listen

Sheriff Bruce Robertson is charged with finding a young Amish woman on the run from a murderous drug ring, so she can testify in federal court. Wrestling with a recurring childhood nightmare of a deadly lion, the Holmes County sheriff finds himself torn between allegiance to the legal system he upholds and the beliefs of the people he is sworn to protect.

Starts out talking about a torturous death...

...and it didn't get any better so I quit listening. I can't rate the performance very well b/c I only listened to about three chapters, but what I listened to sounded okay performance-wise. I was expecting something closer to an Amish story without disgusting details. No more by this author and I WILL be trying to get a refund for this one.
