About this listen

With this riveting historical novel, Tracie Peterson concludes a CBA best-selling series. Set amidst the frozen wilds of 1917 Alaska, this finale skillfully weaves an enthralling plot with an uplifting message of God's faithfulness in times of trial.

With Leah's husband and brother still lost in the Arctic, it's difficult for her to sustain hope. She values her friends and treasures her one-year-old twins. But what if both men remain forever frozen in Alaska's cruel embrace?

This book could have ended several times, but didn't. Kind of left me feeling like it drug on longer than it needed to, but overall a good book.

Good, but not great

I completed this book of this series, Volume 2. Also filled with religious Prayers, etc. over and over. I am a faithful person, but never speaking of it to others. I have never had an experience of God speaking to me telling me the answers that I had questions about. I am struggling with this but do have my own quiet faith and respect those that do.
I continue to listen to Tracie Peterson, book after is the same. Makes me wonder what have I missed in my faith over the years as I am getting much older. Her stories do make me do a great deal of thinking as the endings have been with a very happy ending after some very tough struggles. It seems to be the theme with her writings. Marilyn

Another wonderful series set in Alaska that shows the trials and tribulations but also joy and love. Classic Tracie Peterson and great narration!

Great series

The author wrote of life and death in the harsh Alaskan wilderness. Personally I found myself teary eyed by the frequency of deaths in this 3rd book. And I also struggled with God's plan in all that happened to these loving people.

Tougher content than the other two in the series

Such tragedies these families suffered through!! But God is ALWAYS faithful, even if we are faithless or sinning.
The narration was very good, but EVERY chapter change, there was way too long of a pause and I had to keep looking at my phone screen to make sure it was still playing!

I liked the close bond between the families and the abundance of scripture used in their everyday life. I liked the cleanness of the story.

How they endured hardship and still trusted God.

How many times in one book are two grown men going to get lost at sea?!? Seriously. Two men both leave their new wives & newborn babies is not realistic at all. The first 2 books were way better

disappointed
