Publisher's summary

Prepare yourself to defend the truth against the greatest worldview threat of our generation.

In recent years, a set of ideas rooted in postmodernism and neo-Marxist critical theory have merged into a comprehensive worldview. Labeled “social justice” by its advocates, it has radically redefined the popular understanding of justice. It purports to value equality and diversity and to champion the cause of the oppressed.

Yet far too many Christians have little knowledge of this ideology, and consequently, don’t see the danger. Many evangelical leaders confuse ideological social justice with biblical justice. Of course, justice is a deeply biblical idea, but this new ideology is far from biblical.

It is imperative that Christ followers, tasked with blessing their nations, wake up to the danger, and carefully discern the difference between biblical justice and its destructive counterfeit.

This book aims to replace confusion with clarity by holding up the counterfeit worldview and the Biblical worldview side-by-side, showing how significantly they differ in their core presuppositions. It challenges Christians to not merely denounce the false worldview, but offer a better alternative - the incomparable Biblical worldview, which shapes cultures marked by genuine justice, mercy, forgiveness, social harmony, and human dignity.

Excellent viewpoint with biblical foundation

I could not stop listening to this book. I really appreciated the insight that critiqued both the social justice movement and inappropriate response to it by fundamentalist Christianity. Not only did I get solid information about the root causes and origins of today's social justice movement but I also heard a Biblical response to social justice including actionable points which can help me engage in the culture to help bring about biblically just society.

The truth that helps and hurts

The authors, careful research, analysis, and conclusions are disturbing, but so necessary. This book helps you to focus. Your energy is in a positive direction toward Biblically based change.

A timely must read for every believer in Christ

Here is a timely must read for every believer in Jesus Christ. This well written book is short yet powerfully thorough with each chapter supported by scripture and true to life examples for application. I have researched this topic and found several options from other authors. However, this book I can and do fully recommend.

the state of things

This is precisely how I have viewed the current state of things here in the US. I have known that the political movements were meant for something good. But there are darker principalities and hosts behind them. People try to do good without God but we are not good. So, because of the truly, inherently, evil state of our world and our hearts, it is low hanging fruit easily attained and twisted by the evil one into something so wicked that for those who meant well, have no idea where it all went wrong. Be careful when joining a cause! That being said, Christian, what are they feeding you from the pulpit at your place of worship? Test the spirit! Anything short of Loving God above all, or your neighbor as yourself, then I implore you to speak up.
This book is a necessary read for ALL christian folks.
Please!
Then remain steadfast and watchful because the Lord is coming.

Tremendous look at Biblical Justice vs Social Justice

A clear explanation of why Ideological Social Justice and its anti-God Marxism roots is incompatible with Biblical Justice and must be rejected by Christians, while we also grow stronger in practicing and proclaiming Biblical Justice.

Crucial Need to Know

I knew the new social justice was rooted in Marxism but wanted to learn how to intelligently explain to someone why it is wrong. Justice in the Bible is different. This book explains everything excellently. I’m listening a second time. Narrator excellent. Good voice.

Finally

Fantastic job holding scripture as the standard by which all else is judged/compared.Opposed to who's got the better statistics. Man, I feel like this is the direction I have been waiting for someone to take since all this stuff popped up! Such a great job defining terms. Chapter 7 was challenging but he held the biblical plum line. Overall such a great job.

It is time for the body of Christ to Wake Up!

It is a great reminder how progressive Christianity is turning us away from God. Accepting the current culture/world view is turning us away from God and what His Word says. By conforming to this world we become hypocrites of the Word and counter to God. Justice is the Lords!
