Publisher's summary

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed,

for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

Each day, you watch America turn further from Christian values and the core principles of liberty. It's frustrating to feel you can't assert biblical truth without facing condemnation, and fearful to witness outrage and victimhood replace respect and reason. Amid this dissent, how can you not only stay rooted in your own faith, but continue publicly testifying for Jesus?

In We Will Not Be Silenced, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer prepares you to live out your convictions against a growing tide of hostility. Gain a better understanding of nonbelievers' legitimate hurts and concerns regarding issues like racism, sexism, and poverty - and identify the toxic responses secular culture disguises as solutions. In the process, you'll see how you can show compassion and gentleness to those outside of the faith without affirming their beliefs.

We Will Not Be Silenced will ready you to move beyond fear and boldly accept the challenge of representing Christ to a watching world that needs him now more than ever before.

Eye Opening, Heart Pounding

I listened to this book and could not help but think how could Dr Lutzer sleep after writing We Will Not Be Silenced. It provides well researched and documented material pulling back the curtain to what is happening in America today. We are well past the differences between Right and Left, Red and Blue, Republicans and Democrats. Dr Lutzer and his team has done a tremendous service to those who seek truth. To those who subscribe to the theory, ignorance is bliss, let me warn you. DO NOT read/listen to this book.

Read Patriots

Great book using biblical truths to expose the duplicity we face here in the USA today. Jesus is the only way. Stand up Christians and Patriots.

Insightful, Provocative, Biblical

This book serves as a timely and well-written reminder of the state in which America finds itself: under attack by the godless to the point that our every institution has been subverted and divided. Lutzer reminds us of our duty as Christians to nevertheless love those who persecute us, to not mock them, but to remain caring even in our zeal to defend our faith and rights. My one criticism is that his book assumed George Chauvin was guilty before his trial had concluded. Even though after much research I largely agree with the jury's findings, we need to take care to respect our legal process of presuming innocence until proven guilty in a court of law. And with that said, let us remember that we all will face the Great Judge of all Humanity one day, that we'll be called to account for our every careless deed and thought and that we can only be saved from eternal damnation by submitting to God, taking up our own crosses and following Christ. God help this utterly lost and broken nation.

Excellent Book

This is an excellent book in which the author outlines what is happening in our US culture today. He also provides information about successfully dealing with the culture as a Christian.

Very timely

This book is a well written and concise perspective on where the American church is today- and what a Christ like response looks like. Highly recommended!

Take this book to heart!

How sad it is to hear about the number of Christians who bow to evil and compromise!
WITH COMPROMISE, sadly we stand against the living God and by our inability to end abortion in America we face severe judgment!!! We pray for a great awakening before it is too late!
Definitely the cry is...STAND AGAINST EVIL, SUPPORT SCRIPTURAL TRUTH AND DO NOT COMPROMISE!!!!

Faith in the face of oppression

I found this book to be extremely inspirational in the struggle of being a Christian in the world of oppression. although America is certainly not as bad as China or Russia with their suppression of religion I fear we might be going down that road and if you have that fear too this is a great book to read
