About this listen

If you love the Dark Protectors, these wicked hot Realm Enforcers are for you!

Daire Dunne is more than ready to take a quick break from his duties as a Coven Nine Enforcer. When he spots a sexy blonde across a Titans of Fire party, it's not long before she's on the back of his Harley on the fast track to his apartment. Unfortunately, one overheated kiss in, the woman drugs Daire and steals valuable files that can't fall into enemy hands. The second he comes to, the hunt is on....

Now that Cee Cee has the information to take down an enemy that destroyed her family, she can implement her perfect plan for revenge. Nothing will stop her, not even a shockingly sexy enforcer barging into her life. Not even the spectacular, fire-branding sex engulfing them. But if Daire ever figures out who her family really is, all bets are off....

A wild romp with Darrogh of the Realm Enforcers

Witched, demons and vampires all take part in this installment f the Realm world. The characters are likeable, sexy, and fun. The performance however would have been greatly improved if there had been dual or duet narration. Brock Thompson’s female voices are not very good and there are more than enough male voices to concentrate on. Lots of action and a great pace though so a good choice.

Good story but lackluster narration.

As with other Zanetti books, this is full of action and plot twists. The narrator does a good job of affecting accents but has almost no ability to inflect emotion. How did the director think that the sex scenes merited the same emotional intensity as the description of the heroine's outfit? Dialogue has a bit more emotion but overall if the story wasn't so strong I would not have been able to finish the book.

different narrator than the other series.

I wish he pronounced the names the same. it's very distracting to hear daga instead of dage

So good.

Love the character building. And the heat is good, too. Narration could not have been better. Such an amazing series. On to the next book

Great action romance

Constant action with a great dose of love and romance thrown in along with shifters, demons and vampires. Everything you need in a great fiction story!

Witty, Well-told, Wild!

Any additional comments?

Man, can Rebecca Zanetti tell a story or what. That's not a question. I liked this one perhaps even more than the first audiobook. It's got action, nice plot and character development. There's also some fairly strong hints of a third book, centered around the third brother, Adam. I wonder if he'll mate a Shifter?
My favorite quote from this was something like: "Isn't a Bear just one honey-pot away from crazy?"
The narration was also well-done. Brock Thompson's female voices are very convincing and consistent, though his Russian voices in this book are pretty similar.
I'm also a narrator. I purchased this audiobook because it was on sale.

*Swoon* it’s late. I’m slap happy-

I’m telling you- these Dunne Witches are hot as a plasma ball in The South in July . Like let’s go to Ms Zanetti’s house and beg her to give us a couple more. Then- there’s Cee Cee. I love Cee Cee. Like - she’s my dream team heroine candidate. Her growth is off the charts. I don’t do spoilers. I don’t tell plot points but when it comes you are just like “wait- what?” And we move on with happy thoughts.
Brock Thompson- marry me? Or at least call me and tell me I’m pretty? Cause your voice? It’s pretty amazin.

Also I find it important to note that I got this book forever ago and while listening to the new Dark Protectors Novella was reminded of my sweet Cee Cee and had to come relisten and decided to review since I didn’t used to make it a priority. Now it’s a priority :)

Inconsistencies with related series

Pronunciation of some names in this series are not the same as in The Dark Protectors series (Dage, Trevon and Nikolaj) and The Reese Family Novellas. Also, some facts do not align with the other series (ie: stating Conn is mated to Brenna vs Moria)
