About this listen

In the new Leopard novel by the number-one New York Times best-selling author of Cat's Lair and Leopard's Prey, passions explode like wildfire when a young woman's feral instincts are ignited by a man who's too dangerous not to desire....

A simple request for Siena Arnotto: deliver a gift to her grandfather's friend. One look at Elijah Lospostos, hard bodied and stripped to the waist, and Siena succumbs to a feline stirring she never felt before, and to Elijah's reckless and pleasurable demands. But when that pulse-throbbing moment ends in the murder of an unexpected intruder, Elijah accuses the shaken and confused Siena of setting him up.

Then Siena discovers the truth of her Leopard heritage, of the secrets in her grandfather's inner circle and the sinister plot of revenge that has put her in jeopardy. When Siena's grandfather is assassinated, she realizes the only man she can trust is Elijah. Now, as her Leopard rises from within, Siena and Elijah share not only an animal instinct for survival - but a desire so raw and wild it may be the only thing that can save them.

Wild Cat

Wild Cat by Christine Feehan is a book in the Leopard Series. Its a very empowered woman book that learns life could be better with a man/leopard.

Wild cat

Karen White did a great job reading Wild Cat. The book itself was more of sex than anything. It started off great. Then you had 3 chapters of just sex. Then you had a chapter with great substance. Finally, the book ends with a cliff hanger of questions. This is the first book I have read from Christine Feehan. I will probably give another one of her books a try. She seems like a great writer- she just seems to have gotten taken away with A lot of sex. Romance, sex,& action- together are great. If you have one without the other. Well, to me this is the story line you end up with.

i absolutely love Christine Feehan's books

I don't believe I have missed any if her books....the characters come alive and. although this story was good Sienna was a little wimpy and whiny for my taste.

If I could shift into a leopard, I d never be scared of shit... bring it :)

however, since that is not the case..well you know...looking forward to the next book hopefully there will be a revisit to the babies, have to be girls or there is no point in them being trips.

Hero needed a kick in the......!

The storyline was the typical leopard story. Hero rescues and avenges Heroine’s attack from unwanted male leopard pursuit. There is a complex coup being organized by the more ethical mafia leopard families; essentially making the best of an impossible situation. However, what really stuck out, to me, was the ridiculous temper of the Hero. There isn’t enough love and good sex, in the world, to convince me to put up with that man’s crap. I guess the Heroine is a more understanding woman than I am cause I got pissed several times just listening to the book. Leopard shifter or not, Elija really needed to learn some self control. Other than that character flaw and behavior, I enjoyed the book. There is an obvious pattern to all the plots and I am finding myself getting bored with the unoriginality and I’m going to need a break before listening to any more of this series.

good book

This is a good book. How ever I listening to the book does not do it for me. I love the feel and smell of actual books. Listening to a book is not for me. I will never listen to another book. In fact I am going to purchase this book so that I can actually read it.

The long whine

Struggled to finish. i've tried to get into this book several times. Don't know why it irritates me so much; well, yes. I do. The main chacters spend entire book whining to one another; she from lack of confidence and self esteem , and he because of his brutal upbringing as a killer and his anxiety about his woman rejecting him! unfortunately the female narrator was unable to pull off the story line and was miserable trying to portray the authoratative Hispanic crime boss. the weak performance made this book sound like a mediocre romance . I would say that half the book is redundant throbbing genitalia and nothing new orgasms. there wasn't much room for plot, full chacters, or we'll developed story line. I'm done with this.
