About this listen

Real wolves bite...

I was taught my whole life about the importance of true mates, how when you find that one wolf for you, everything falls into place.

Everyone who taught me that was a liar.

When I found my true mate, happily ever after sure as hell didn't start, but hell definitely began.

I ran away, and now I've been searching for peace for weeks as I drive around the country.

I didn't mean to take the wrong road.

I didn't mean to make it to that small town.

And I didn't mean to meet two men, who set me and my wolf on fire.

But here I am somehow, and peace is the last thing I've found.

And don't forget about the serial killer...

This is a rejected mate series, filled with scorching hot wolf shifters who take what they want, enough steam to burn you up, and a hidden town filled with secrets. You'll love this paranormal romance if you love True Blood, Twilight, or Vampire Diaries.

Wild Moon is book one in a new wolf shifter trilogy by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.

the audio needs proofread, many repeats.

I didn't really care for the characters and the story moved slow, finally finished on the third try.

Terrible recording.

Mispronounces SO many words. Loses place and a lot of weird sound glitches.
Very disappointing. Good story but ruined by terrible narration

Holy Shifter

This was the very 1st book I ever read by Mila Young and CR Jane so I was super excited to listen to it on audio to get the full experience and SQUEEE, I'm in love with this book all over again. I absolutely love the story line with the 2 ALPHA males and the narrators did a great job with it. This audio makes the steam and the connection between Rune & Wilder and also Rune and Daxon all the better!

Hoping it gets better

I find the narrators mispronciations very distracting. For example, everytime she says Ally-stair instead of Alistair, or when she says no-dead instead of nodded.
In terms if the storyline I'm struggling, I'm about halfway through and can't get past the main characters idiocy. She is a wolf shifter and grew up with wolf shifters but somehow doesn't realize that she stumbled into a town full of wolf shifters, seriously?!

Great story but the narrator…

The mispronunciation was maddening. Her voice quality and tone suited the character but the mistakes were just tough to get through. It bothered me so much I made a list.
Alistair as alley-stair
Reverently as Reeve Er ently
Haunted vs. hunted
Formidable as form eeedable
Lycans as Lee kens
Well endowed as well in doe-d

Ill read the rest

She mispronounced Alistair and other words, lost her place and I could hear the starts and stops of her audio recording. Low quality work should have been free. Disappointed because the story was good. Ill just read the rest.

Loved it.

The characters are amazing. Though the narrators need to pronounce the word better, the story was awesome. I can not wait for book 2.

The narration is atrocious. Read Mate Game series

Okay. So I am a voracious reader who has recently (in the last month) gotten into the romance/erotic book genre. I have listened to hundreds of hours of audiobooks and even though I'm new to this genre I've listened to almost a dozen books. This is by far the worst narration of any book I've listened to. Both narrators seem to stumble through the book. There is no natural cadence to the reading, they both pause mid-sentence, and the female narrator in particular is horrible at smashing two separate paragraphs together so that when you're listening it's hard to tell initially if a new thought or situation is occurring or you're continuing with the same thought. I can deal with all of those things. I don't like it, but it's tolerable. What absolutely drove me bonkers was the number of times she mispronounced words. Particularly the words cacophony and reverberating. I almost stopped listening. If you're going to be paid to narrate a book you should be able to pronounce the words written in said book....right? Other than the narration the book was okay. It was suggested to me by a friend as a quick read, which it was. The story line in decent, the writing is okay, the *steamy* bits were well-written though. To me, the ending seemed abrupt. Like when you're writing a paper and realize you've reached the length requirement and finish it as quickly as you can. If you do like this book, try reading the Mate Games books by K. Lorraine & Meg Anne. The story is better in my opinion and the narration is phenomenal.
