About this listen

Ethan Ozzie Sykes is a former Navy SEAL and an underground operator for Black Knights, Inc., the covert government defense firm disguised as a custom motorcycle shop. When a black-ops international mission goes sideways, Ozzie is badly injured. Now he's stuck at BKI headquarters in Chicago, champing at the bit to get out into the field again. To his disgust, he's tasked instead with distracting the Chicago Tribune's ace reporter, Samantha Tate - someone who's been trying to dig up dirt on BKI for years. But Samantha's beauty, intelligence, and sense of humor begin to make Ozzie lose his desire to keep her at bay. He's gotten tired of hiding, and Samantha's more than ready to be the person with whom he shares his secrets.

Awesome book!

So of course, like the rest of all BKI fans, this book was the one I wanted most! It totally didn't disappoint! I loved Ozzie and Samantha, but it didn't change my fave, which is still Dan and Penni, LOL. But I do love this series, and it just keeps getting better and better. I can't WAIT to start the next one!

This series has seen a number of narrators, I think 5 so far, and FINALLY this book was a GREAT one! I loved her voices, accents and narration. I had HATED some (if not all) of the previous ones.

Another great ride from the Black Knight Hotties

Julie Ann Walker never fails to entertain, and this volume, which centered around Ozzie, was as good as the rest. Once again there were insurmountable obstacles preventing the two lovers from being together, and once again, those obstacles were ever-so-passionately knocked aside. Kind of cute seeing the headquarters turning into a family operation, complete with mothers harrumphing over the bad language flying back and forth in front of the kids.

Love will find you

Living a covert life is not easy especially when you have a hot as hell reporter that won't take No for answer. Then fate steps in and the rest is history

All Our Favorite, Ozzie !

This was long awaited ! Ozzie finally finds love !! Although I'm still so sad about part of his leg getting mangled during another Field Ops event. I love this entire series. I have 3 to go to finish. Love the Author, and this Narrator !! BEAUTIFUL JOB !!

Ozzie deserves better :(

I waited so long for Ozzie’s story and was so disappointed. First, Samantha Tate? Ew. She’s been a villain the entire series. It could have worked if we had gotten to know her more over the previous books. I honestly thought I had missed a book because she just showed up for a tour and then all of a sudden Ozzie loves her and trusts her. Second, Ozzie’s own struggles were barely covered. He has gone through a lot and deserved more attention. I was actually more interested in the rare snippets about Christian and Emily. I’m going to pretend like Ozzie got a more deserving girl who was strong and matched his wit and humor. Samantha Tate...ew.

What

I am one of those people who will stick a book out until the end 99 times out of 100 because I don’t like not knowing what happens in the end but this book was so confusing and kept jumping around so much I listened to half the book and had to give up. I’m not sure it it was because of the narrator or just the writing itself. This book jumps around so much if you are not devoting all of your attention to listening to it you will miss something because it switches so rapidly from one character to the next I felt like I had whiplash at times. Maybe I would have been able to follow if it would have been acted out with multiple narrators at the same time but I’m really not sure. Seriously one of the worst books I’ve attempted to listen to.
