About this listen

Wolf Shifter Mason McNaughton is tired of the crazy feral living in his house, endangering him, his brothers, and his sweet auntie Cora. Ferals are Shifters who've reverted to the wild stage, forgetting all about the joys of pizza and satellite TV. Not to mention, Mason is sick of waking up to the feral's rampages in the bedroom next to his. The feral has been given sanctuary, so Mason can't throw him out - the only thing to do is to find a way to cure him.

The problem is, Shifter healers - elusive, Goddess-touched Shifters who have the healing gift - are few and far between. Mason volunteers to go in search of one, and is sent to a psychic in New Orleans who might have an idea of where to start looking.

Mason doesn't believe in psychics, but Jasmine, the psychic in question, seems to at least put on a good show. Jasmine believes in Shifters all right, but she vowed to never have anything to do with them again.

The easiest way to get rid of the growly Lupine, Mason, is to help him, but Jasmine never dreams what that help will drag her into.

A short novel of the Shifters Unbound series.

Lots of Story

Enjoyed this audiobook. In the beginning, it seemed that this book might not be to my liking, but as I went through it, I began to really get into it. The story isn't anything I would have thought of. It was not predictable. There was a lot of suspense, thrill and romance in this book. It covered all the bases of a good book. The narrator did a good job.

The cats out of the bag!

Mason, youngest brother of Broderick is tasked a mission that will send him on one wild ride. He’s sent to Louisiana to find a psychic.... then the real fun begins.

Jasmine isn’t just any woman. She’s not just any psychic. She’s the real deal. Jazz sets off to help Mason find a shifter healer. This healer may be the only one able to save the savage feral that lives under his roof. His family is under attack and this man, the healer is their last chance.

The emotional ups and downs of this book are enough to keep you hugging your book close and reading!

Great story

I really enjoyed this story. The connection Jasmine and Mason had was amazing. Again, I’m completely amazed with the authors ability to weave all the books in this series together. I continue to enjoy this entire series.

Fantastic read!

I love this story. It's maybe one of my favorites from the Shifters because of the additional magical elements added this time. The characters are a amazing as always. Jasmine in an interesting character with extraordinary talents and a huge heart. Mason appears to be a typical male shifter at first but, after you peel away a few layers, you realize he doesn't quite possess as much bravado as he wants you to think he does.

I love this series. I've read every book up till now and can't wait for more. Another 5* job from Jennifer Ashley. Now I'm off to read White Tiger. I can't wait to read Kendrick's story.

KINDA' DISAPPOINTED!

Love the characters, loved the story, but I was disappointed that there wasn't a mating ceremony. What gives?

New to me narrator

As with all of Jennifer Ashley's shifter series, this is a solid book. I love her novellas as much as I do her full length novels.

I enjoyed the supernatural/spiritual element that was incorporated into this story about Jasmine and Mason. This is also where we meet Alec, the shifter healer from Guardian's Mate, the most recent book in the series.

I have never listened to a book narrated by David Brenin and I thought he did a very good job of bringing the characters to life. He had wonderful pacing and the story really flowed when he narrated. I think he is a great addition to this series and hope he is used again. A.
