About this listen
Scarlett Prynne and Runeclaw took one on the magical chin from the Luminous Veil. Now it's time for payback.
While they were guarding against one kidnapping spree, the Veil performed another. But Scarlett has a lead on the captives, and for once, she's going to be the one delivering trouble rather than receiving it. The Veil won't be stopped by just one strike, though. Camus' plans to control captives and their owners with magical mind control collars could make him unstoppable. All he needs to do is get the collars on, place the servants, and activate the magic inside them.
Time is ticking away while Scarlett, The Witches on Wheels, and the Spell Riders search for the key lead.
Scarlett may need a new kind of magic to beat the Veil this time. An elderly witch wants to teach her how to use blood magic to track someone. Is it enough? And does it pose its own threat?
Meanwhile, Maddox and Amber will collaborate on getting Dusk Runner ready for battle. And Rath the troll will teach her to be better at throwing knives, in accordance with his mantra, "Must Train."
But will anything be enough to root out the Veil's location so they can finally destroy the group?
Only one way to find out.

Story
Scarlett Prynne is new in town, but that won't stop trouble from finding the young witch. It always does. Before her brother kicked her through a magical portal that eventually landed her in nowhere Tonopah, Nevada, he called her an agent of chaos. But let's be fair. Our Scarlett doesn't create problems. Her magic just attracts it in all shapes and furry sizes. Like her familiar, Runeclaw. The black cat's tongue is as sharp as his nails, and he has a snark that can cut through just about anything. This time though, trouble was already here.

Gen, a resident of fifteenth century England, finds herself stuck in modern day America—all because she was overly curious and followed strangers through a time travel gate. Two things have always gotten Gen in trouble: her curiosity and defiance. But times have changed, quite literally. Those traits could save her life.

Story
Mary Frances Talbot—Frankie—is a necromancer, probably. Hard to say since she never met her parents. She can see the dead, talk to the dead, and a few other things that aren't strictly legal. It's fine. No worries. As long as she doesn't get caught. The whole not getting caught thing was going well until Samuel Harrow blew back into town wearing a Savannah Police Department uniform. He might be a witch, but he hates magic. He's not a fan of Frankie either. Which explains why he's her ex.

Story
Deputy US Marshal Cait Keane is a Witch with a Badge—and a Dragon for a partner. The Boston office tour will have to wait—her first day on the job in her new appointment is canceled to pursue a federal fugitive, a magical with a penchant for fire. She'll need her gun and her wand to take him down. What will her team think of having a magical on board? When a federal judge is killed, she discovers she's in the middle of a territorial battle between criminal organizations. The killer is a magical, or working with one, which makes Cait the perfect Marshal to take them down.
