About this listen

Without him, I couldn’t eat. Without him I couldn’t sleep. Our union was a blessing Without him, I was Restless.

The Leverage & Love series continues with Wilde & Restless.

In this follow up, Mayor Hanover and Ms. Roads agreed to part until Wilde felt she was adequate enough to withstand the overflow of love that Jhalil was ready to afford her with.

But, as we all know, distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Wilde holds up her end of the bargain, but finds herself overwhelmed with the restless nights and days that seem to linger without the presence of her loved one. Jhalil, Relentless without shame, succumbs to his urgency to have her at his side once and for all after a brief brush in passing.

Even the Wilde gets Restless.

Enjoying this series

I love the story of Wilde and Jhalil… but I was thrown by the part where he was angry with her not telling him about the baby… BUT it was Jhalil who told her to get lost when he thought she aborted their baby… but she tried for weeks and weeks to fell him and then she documented every moment for him… so that was odd. also… hmm…most of the epilogue was a repeat.. and did not match up with the last chapter where they reunited and became engaged

The story was different

Absolutely love Grey Huffington, and her desire to try different things. This story was hard to follow and understand at several. The dreams, the break in the books, and the starting pints was less than desirable.
Though I am. not a fan of a single narrator, and didn’t mind it this series.

I was constantly confused with the dream sequence and thought there was a recording error. The shortness of each book and the in-depth story did not work for me. It felt choppy and poorly executed.

Could’ve been better

I loved the plot but breaking it up into 3 books was totally unnecessary. Grey is better than this!
