About this listen

Freedom is reborn. The North American continent has been wrested from the brutal grasp of Soviet Warlords, but they have not given up yet. Deep in the frozen Siberian wastes, last ditch elements of the Evil Empire plan to annihilate the Free World in one final rain of nuclear death.

Trading his sleek F-16 fighter jet for a larger, heavier B-1B swing-wing bomber, Hunter undertakes his most perilous mission: an impossible 6,000 mile bombing run deep into the heart of the enemy's homeland! Waging an awesome battle from the cockpit of the last of the "Ghostriders", only the Wingman can save his doomed country from extinction...

Mack Maloney And HAWK HUNTER are the Best.

Loved it like all so far. Suspend reality & just enjoy the characters & the swash buckling of it all. Like Saturday AM cartoons when u/we were young or Comics for adults!!

Re-read!

I read the series several years ago. It is fun just listening to the books. I’m amazed at what I remember and what I forgot.

one of Mack Maloney best titles

I definitely love Mack Maloney telling of Hawk Hunter Adventures of post America after World War III. in this chapter of Hawk Hunters life, they finally make a Trader pay for what he did.

half of the book is missing

I own the physical copy of this book and am dismayed that at least half of the book is actually missing. The missing portion of the book is a recounting of the events durring WWIII that led up to the destruction of America, i dont understand why the meat of the book was cut from the reading and i am very saddened by this

Abridged to Nothing

I loved the original novel, it's one of my favorites, but the story that was read left out the main part of the book! It completely leaves out World War III, which was the whole point of the book, a retelling of the backstory that is the basis for the whole Wingman series! Ridiculous!
