Winnie the Pooh and his friends teach life stories in and un-intrusive but effective way. This audio book is performed impeccably perhaps it's speaks to the calibre of the performers. The sound effects are well executed almost as if there aren't there but playing a crucial role in creating the imagery.
It's a pleasurable listen for both young and old.

Worth listening to over and over again

Where does Winnie the Pooh: Piglet Meets a Heffalump (Dramatised) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This would be one of my favorite audiobooks so far (2nd in line - The Help is our nr. 1) . We have small kids and listen to this audio book over and over again in the car. Of course the Winnie the Pooh story is great and timeless. But the performances of these actors are top-notch. It has me laughing all the time - even though I have heard this story at least 10 or 15 times in just a few weeks.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Piglet. The voice just makes me laugh. In fact, if you are having a bad day this would be a great way to cheer up. It is fab.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

What do I not like is an easier question as I could simply say

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Don't want to give away details - so best to say that this book evokes a multitude of emotions. You have to be an ice cube to not melt during this performance.

Any additional comments?

This story is ageless - interesting and entertaining from 1 - 100. We find it a really good way to calm our youngest ones down when they get fuzzy. Even toddlers, who might not quite understand the whole story - will listen as there are many voices and sound effects to keep them engaged quietly and this can give a welcome break to a busy day of running errands taking the kids in and out of the car.

Terrific Performance for All Ages

Good for small children. Interesting, but weird. Good and bad. Piglet’s voice was not that good.

😐😐😐😐

I grew up loving these stories and thought this would be a great option for a long distance family trip.

I was wrong.

The narrators intensely helpless and whimpering interpretation of Piglet is enough to make anyone crazy with rage.

Made me want to strangle Piglet
