narrator annoying but worth it

I'm still cringing when the kids speak but the story is a wonderful end to this section of with central Berkeley. it has helped very much understanding the plots going on in the other parts of this world

LOVE THESE WITCHES

Debora Geary writes about these whimsical characters so amazingly that you feel like part of the "witch central" family. I've read all three of her series and would read more if she gets her witch groove back! Thanks for making me happier, one awesome book at a time!!

Yhe way the author voices the storyline

I love this series and was sad to find out the author is no longer writing! I think there was supposed to be more to this series and it remains unfinished. Maybe one day it will find a voice to continue.

Never a miss

Deborah Geary/Audrey Faye never misses with her story telling. Saddened that she has endured the twists that life can throw but happy to have found her books.

LOVE the author, Narrator, not so much.

I love every and all books written in the Witch Central world. Some readers don't like how perfect the Sullivans and their enterage are. Too darned bad. This is fiction for goodness sake: A place for escape, A place to imagine there actually might BE people and families in this real world that are chock full of love, laughter, support, and life!! Each has their own strengths and weaknesses. I have found myself moved to tears in some sections throughout her books. Witches in Flight is no exception. This is a lovely conclusion to the Witchlight Series.

The ONLY problem is have is Madeleine Lambert's narration. I will go so far as to say, she's not the worst narrator I've ever listened to. I might even have enjoyed most of her narration as I think the voices she chose for Lizard and the Walker kiddos was really good. However, every time she read for Lauren, one of my favorite characters, she started talking through her nose, something I absolutely COULD NOT stand. Even if I had not heard Martha Harmon Pardee's excellent narration of the original series, I would cringe at Ms Lambert's choices for many of the characters that make up the core of the stories. I will not condemn Ms Lambert outright, but come on! Did any of the editors actually listen to this and actually think the voice selections were a good choice for them all? Somebody fell down on the job. Luckily the storyline, just barely, overshone most of the cringe worthy narration.
