About this listen

She' s moved forward, but has she really moved ahead?Social worker Sienna St. James is no stranger to setbacks. As far as she is concerned, her estranged husband set her back and off course over a decade ago. Now, she has reclaimed her sense of hope and purpose, set up a new therapy practice, bought a new home, and has finally moved on. Maybe. When a wealthy, secretive new couple she' s counseling pulls her into their very real life-and-death drama, and her long-lost husband' s whereabouts can no longer be ignored, Sienna realizes the truth about what has kept her emotionally frozen and fragile - it' s fear. Ready or not, she has frightening challenges to overcome: a kidnapping, a teenage son who' s gone AWOL, a tired-of-waiting potential new beau, and a journalist who' s made it clear that he' s interested in getting more from her than the breaking news the twists in her life are offering. Torn by professional and personal struggles that have now become a full blown war, Sienna must come face-to-face with her deepest fears - and survive them - before it' s too late.

Mysterious and Suspenseful Tale

What did you love best about Without Faith?

The mystery about the summons to the pizzeria.

What did you like best about this story?

The suspense of finding Roman.

Have you listened to any of Patricia R. Floyd’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Bravo performance just like the first one. Switching back and forth between characters seems laborious. Don't know how you do it!

If you could rename Without Faith, what would you call it?

"Richard, No You Di'int!!"

Any additional comments?

Looking forward to the 3rd and 4th!

My head is spinning.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No book is so all over the place. The main character is the silliest women ever.

Would you ever listen to anything by Leslie J. Sherrod again?

I don't think so.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

I like the narrator. Especially when she is reading other books.

Do you think Without Faith needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, no, no

Excellent story of faith

Excellent book. The writer draws you in to this twist of a detective story. Reminds us to always have faith.

CRAZY!

The author hmmmm---character is crazy. Scattered, all over the place. I struggledddd to finish. The book was far too long and could have been wrapped up in 6 chapters. The ending was short. Ridiculous.
She didn't even have a conversation with her son. (banging head against wall) After the rollercoaster ride the readers went on she could have at least given us this!
Between the news cameras, the prince warrior son, the angry hood sister, leaving her cellphone/purse/wallet at home, SILVER & GOLD, Keysue, Roman Numeral 1, possible pedophile, a dating show, being kidnapped, a made up story she's been telling herself for 2 entire books. close to 150 chapters. I'm pissed I spent the time I will never get back.

The only saving grace is the narrator. She's awesome--always.

As an avid reader you feel a bit invested in the stories in a series but this one I need to leave and come back to. I read the first book and second one back to back and maybe that was insane considering.

Main Character is DUMB!!!

I hate how dumb she is. Shes weak and do too many DUMB things. The book sounds like she needs a therapist rather than her being the help for others. I HATE HER PERSONALITY BUILD!!! DUMB
