About this listen

This classic in the field of ufology is filled with hard-hitting eyewitness testimony of one of the most important events of all time: the actual recovery of a UFO outside of Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. For more than seventy years, government authorities have led us to believe the wreckage was merely a very conventional weather balloon - but the witnesses who were there continue to tell a different story.

Witness to Roswell once again provides a "can't put down" written account of what really transpired in Roswell decades ago. This edition includes:

  • A growing litany of deathbed confessions describing the "little people" recovered.
  • The identity of the Boeing engineer called in to examine the exotic wreckage from the crash.
  • What really took place at the Roswell base hospital and what nurse actually ordered the children's caskets.
  • The story of the soldier who wore gloves at the dinner table after guarding the "bodies."

One need only look at the fact that officials now have four explanations for this historic event - but to which one do all the witnesses testify on their deathbeds?

Excellent. Last reviewers excerpt is what’s not believable. Probably was a participant of the coverup!

Very True So BELIEVE

Could not put it down once I began this book. I am a lover of history that has recently stumbled upon this topic. This story happened without a doubt, and everyone should be appalled by the secrecy that has surrounded it for decades. Definitely recommend to those with extensive and minimal knowledge on the subject. Great introduction to the topic!

Not very believable. sounds exhaustively researched, but where to start? so many witnesses yet no real on record admissions. people die and commit suicide, and again no solid proof beyond typical hysteria and wanting to be in on the story type behavior. The dead giveaway is two things. First, although it seems like hundreds of people knew or knew someone who saw materials, when the issue of actually seeing and providing a name, there seems to be a disconnect. No one who saw this "magic show featuring a piece of meatl from the craft seems to have a name. Biggest of all, although dozens of people walked over the crash scenes, not one testable verifiable piece of the material has come forth. All these people taking pieces home yet nothing has turned up. Not believable. Next and biggest of all, the base request for child sized caskets. These are aliens, dead, not in any way a part of any human tradition or religion, along with a government willing to kill any witness who talks.... but this govt cares enough to order proper caskets? That was a huge error in logic. They are at a military base with an amazing amount of storage materials on hand. Why go off base and air out your secret to civilians???? There are literally hundreds of men on base who can fabricate or provide a crate or even better, a welder could have opened up a large drop tank, stuff the bodies in there wrapped, and store them. A crate could have taken the bodies to the hospital, and no one would have batted an eyelash. Again, so obviously false and part of a very clever and successful attempt to create a diversion while the govt felt ready to debut believable tech that could seem like too advanced to be human. we now have that tech, or are very close. thus the narrative is getting a refresh to keep the subterfuge going. we must be a year or two from debuting a new very advanced plane or piece of tech. The Intelligence community is comprised of brilliant people from the best schools. They are far smarter then almost all of us could fathom. They are just pulling our chain again and laughing at how easy it is.

Isn't it interesting that the two biggest unproven stories (and conspiracies) both have Forth Worth in it? Did intelligence get lazy? They seem to pick areas of low population and, pardon me, fairly low educated people Roswell...? and and area that is very patriotic and was used as a backdrop in the assassination of a President?

Exiting and fun but...

Earthshaking

It is long since time that a complete admission be made by the US government of the veracity of this story produced by overwhelming evidence bu Carey and Schmidt. The updates and changes made it worth the price.

New Edition worth having

After visiting Roswell we purchased this book to listen to on our road trip. We had the privilege of listening to a short lecture by Mr, Schmidt. It is all so incredible. How could the government think it could cover this up? So many witnesses and to threaten them with bodily harm. Incredible! Thank you for your continued investigation.
