About this listen

"She's human. I'm not. She's prey. I'm the predator. She's off-limits and I'm over the line. I'm not supposed to hunt her, I'm not supposed to want her, but I do.

"She's on the run from the MC, making a new life for herself deep in the Louisiana bayou, and only a bastard would go after her. Did I mention that I'm not a nice guy?" (Grant)

Grant "Blade" Dean spent years fighting for the Breed Motorcycle Club. He's sworn fealty to the MC's alpha, and pack comes first...until he rescues a human female from a territory war. He's no white knight, and he's tired of the fighting. He's found his woman, and now he'll do whatever it takes to keep her.

Blade is 50 shades of wrong and Leah Holmes knows it. She knew it when she gave him her virginity four years ago and she knows it when he talks his way onto her houseboat. He's a bad boy biker, a killer - and a wolf. Giving a big, bad wolf a second chance is stupid...isn't it?

I Am So Glad That I'm Open-Minded

I gave this audible a 5-Star rating across the board. Overall, this audible was romantic, seductive and erotic. I love romances so I try not to limit myself to any particular romance genre. That being said, I don't read or listen to a lot of shifter romances. I'm glad that this time I was open-minded or else I would have missed something really sensational.

The performance was worthy of a standing ovation. Noah and Erin never disappoint. Actually seeing that they were the narrators is why chose to be so open-minded. Thank You Noah and Erin for another fine performance.

The story was really good. The story has to be good and well written in order for the performers to be as awesome as the were. Afterall, we are just listening to a book that they are reading, none of it is off the cuff. Thank You Anne Marsh for sharing You.

Ok

Similar storyline with slight differences. Noah changed his voice for this character; I like the voice used for the previous book better; that deeper voice. Erin had a few humorous moments which were enjoyable. Loved the French, we we! On to the next book.

Good Title

I love this series--MC werewolves. This would have been a solid 5 star but for the ending. I would have liked to have seen a few ends tied up. Otherwise, the couple's journey into love was good, the big bad ancient were was a softie where she is concerned. Loved it. The conflict with the other pack and the rest of the MC loyalty and dynamics.
The narrators do the Cajun accent so well. I have the whole series in ebook and audio. It is a re-re (listen) go-to for me.

really, same series?

spoilers... out of order but still spoilers.

I thought Fang was shot by Were's mate in the previous book. what happened?

last chapter, what? they had sex at the clear water lagoon place...a few weeks before, I think the timeline is HARD to follow.... I don't get how we on from petting Gator to living with Blade for 2 weeks... back to the last chapter.. now all the sudden he's been fantasizing for 2 yrs to have her... when he just had her. ?!?!

what the huh? immortal? unless I really missed something in the first two books, where the heck did being centuries old come from?!? plus zero explanation on how Leah and Blade will be HEA?!? won't she die???? Blade tells us a bite can't turn someone to a wolf, sooooooooo? yeah, this means she is gonna grow old and die on him... and he will be a widower. not so sexy.

French translation..... omg i love the narrator speaking french, but a little translation would be nice... like telling Leah in English what he was saying would have fit into the storyline and allowed you to tell the readers what he was saying.

why did it take TD 2+ weeks to come "get his woman"?

when the heck did the Saturday BBQs start, I don't remember this from the first 2 books either.... it was weird and made it seem made up (I know it's all made up, but in the world of the Breed MC you buy into certain things... acting like this is a tradition when it's never mentioned before makes it seem more false than if you all the sudden claimed that Jace started golfing)

abrupt ending too... VERY. not even a good sexy hot ending.... like his talk made it sound like they haven't had sex in 2 years... and then they play a little and boom, the end.

things I loved.... Blade humor... and the first screens with Leah and taking Blades bike were really good.... that who first night on the boathouse was great.

I loved learning a little more about Gator.

although I was confused about it, I loved the BBQ and swapping recipes was a neat lil add.

yes I will read the next books
yes I still like this author
yes the book had some hot stuff going on that I loved
yes blade was hotttttt
yes I'd say read this....

Just don't think you are crazy when you hear something that doesn't make sense... you aren't. going back to reread or re-listen won't help.
