About this listen

Kit’s life is moving along without a hitch. New Job. New boyfriend. New best girlfriend for a confidante. Just when everything seems picture perfect, Kit’s blissful existence unravels one thread at a time. Strange dreams about an old love from high school disrupt her sleep, reminding her of an unresolved issue haunting her since the day she graduated.

When a new guy comes to town, she hopes their rapid relationship will take her mind off the chaos and restore order to her life. Kit’s wish shatters when gruesome events occur unexpectedly, and she’s left fighting them off one at a time. Worse, she must choose between two men who vie for her attention.

One of them desperately wants something from her. The other is not what he appears.

Romance

New author and narrator for me. I enjoyed the story and the way the narrator brought the book to life. I guessed the twist early on. The premise of the book reminds me of a movie I watch. The circumstances behind the death are different but the closer for everyone is the same.

Ghostly Love

Overall for my first full audio, I was pleasantly pleased. The voice / instead of reading took a big of adjusting on my part but I soon loved her voice for the characters.
The story seemed to drag a big at times but I loved every part of the ending.

I would like to check out this author without audio and see if I feel the same way.

Forgiveness

The story starts out with eerie things happening all around Kit. Her high school yearbook falling off the shelf to the open page of her deceased boyfriend. Strange dreams of reminders of him, music playing in the coffee shop that they used to danced to. why now? she enlisted the help of her spiritual friend, Irene, to use the Ouija board to try to find out his message! Kit is involved with her coworker Dwight. Then Kit meets Steven the new guy in town. Shes drawn to him emotionally , romantically and spiritually. Dwight has unwavering love for Kit. which causes Kit to second guess her emotions between the two men.
Scarlett Darkwood weaves the the love story dramatically between the three. why is she having these dreams, why did Steven suddenly come into her life and sweep her off her feet? This story has many spiritual moments, paranormal ,mystery , confusion, and sex. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audio. Robin Kohl Glazer narration for all the characters was so emotional. I needed tissues. I recommend this story. #audiobookobsessionreview

really enjoyed

This isn't my normal go-to type book, but I really enjoyed it. The narrator was great at putting voice to the words. This author is new to me and I will be seeing what other books she has. I would recommend this audiobook.

Words and a listen will do it justice

This audio will grab your imagination and hold you it till the end . It will also open your mind to worlds we never thought of and give your mind expanding. What happens when things happen that a heroine can’t explain. The school book falls on the floor and opens to a certain page. That same heroine feels a presence over her , even when there is nobody around.

The narrator did a good work . Her voice is strong, first time I listened to her

Intriguing story

First Kit starts having dreams about unresolved issues with a former high school love that was killed in an accident. Then a mysterious stranger shows up that catches her eye. Next during a drive to protect an old building that she works in from demolition, strange things begin to happen to her. Then there is the coworker that is also her boyfriend who is jealous of the new guy. Needless to say, Kit has a lot going on in her life. Scarlet Darkwood is a new author to me. She has written a book full of mystery, unanswered questions, friendship, love, a second chance to make things right, forgiveness, and moving on with life.

Robin Kohn Blazer is also new to me. I thought she did a very good job of bringing these characters to life. I requested this Audible book in exchange for an honest review. @audiobookobsession

I wanted a different HEA

The story was intriguing enough to hold my attention throughout. There was a twist, but it was relatively easy to anticipate where it was going. Technically this is a HEA, but it wasn't the HEA that I wanted for the character, personally. In an effort to not spoil the story, I didn't really like the guy she ended up with as a character, he didn't really excite me and their relationship didn't seem as natural as the other guy. It does have a good message about forgiveness and moving forward after tragic events. Kit was a pretty likeable and relatable character.

The Narrator did a great job bringing this story to life, possibly made the story better than what it would have been in print.

Overall, the writing and narration were pretty great.
