Publisher's summary

Everett and Courtney Carroll have survived the Seven Seal Judgments which devastated the planet through a global earthquake and a massive bombardment of meteors. The cities of the earth lie in ruin, and much of the globe's forests have been destroyed by widespread forest fires.

But have their efforts to stay alive been in vain? The next series of judgements to fall upon the earth are known as the Seven Trumpets. Within this series of cataclysms is the earth's collision with a giant asteroid, known as Wormwood. The comet will poison much of the planet's fresh water supplies, making survival near impossible.

Undeterred by the global chaos, the supreme leader of the Global Republic, Angelo Luz, pushes forward with his plans to eradicate his empire of dissenters. In the midst of the mayhem, he sends forth his armies to wipe out the remnant of true Christians as well as the growing number of Messianic Jews.

With each subsequent Trumpet Judgement and every passing day, Everett and Courtney's odds of living grow slimmer. If they are to survive, they'll need perseverance, faith, and a great outpouring of providence from The Almighty.

As with all books by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to scripture, this book might not be for you.

Excellent narration and story

What made the experience of listening to Wormwood the most enjoyable?

Started listening to this author's The Days of Noah Series. Found it so intriguing that I went to the next series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Wormwood?

the very end when...well, I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but let's say I went right to audible website to get the third book in the Days of Elijah series and found out it's not even due out until the fall of this year!!!! So disappointed! And I don't even see a way to pre-order.

Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Excellent performance! Does all the voices well, and consistently.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes, but couldn't. I listened to it over a period of days because I had to drive to LA and back for work training. It was about 1.5 hours each way, so this was an excellent distraction.

Any additional comments?

I am very impressed with Mark Goodwin's books.

Fantastic Story that awakens the mind, heart and soul!

From the first book in the "Days of Noah" series to this last installment the story, characters and exciting action have been spellbinding! Not only in the tale itself, but in the manner it moves you closer to instilling the beliefs in our Lord!

An enjoyable read.

A light-hearted take on the apocalypse with religious undertones. I look forward to the 3rd installment.

Tidy Follow Up to first book

Glad the same narrator read for this one as well, it flows much more smoothly that way.

good story good plot in the go very well with the Bible and what it says not that the rapture or tribulation will happen this way but it is a taste of how things could go

So Enjoying This😁

Narration is spot on as usual!

Everett, his wife Courtney, their friend Kevin, his wife Sarah and the prophet EliYaHu/Elijah are continuing their journey through the Tribulation. They do "exploits", but also deal with the day to day dramas of living in a time where the Antichrist is ruling, people are coming into their own as villians or heroes and the Trumpets of Revelation are being sounded. So Enjoying the fact that the author gets the importance of the Fall Feasts to the fulfillment of the 2nd Coming and that EliYaHu insists that the 4 invest in their own particular intimacy of relationship with ABBA YHWH. So glad I got all 4 books because I can start the next one right away.
