About this listen

Paige Roberts learned to fend for herself growing up. Now she's doing everything possible to give her daughter, Casey, the stability she never had. But when the vivacious five-year-old decides that she's done wearing her prosthesis, Paige faces her toughest challenge yet: trusting a handsome, brooding stranger who simply wants to help.

JT McKinney lost more than his leg in a car accident that stole his dreams of pro football. Eight years later he's made a new life for himself far away from his old one. His business is developing cutting-edge prosthetics, and he's more than happy to turn his attention to machines instead of people. Still, he can't shake the feeling that something's missing.

When JT gets the chance to help Paige's daughter, he takes it. He never planned on the two of them tearing down his walls or teaching him to believe in himself again. Paige might not believe in happily ever afters, but JT wants more than anything to be her prince. They'll both have to let go of the past if they want a future.

Contains mature themes.

Nice story, but predictable. Wonderful look into th emotions of amputees. Will be a good tool in helping these broken souls heal.

For whatever reason, I’ve had this book sitting in my audible library for months, but kept putting it off. When I recently found myself in an audio slump, I decided to finally give it a try only to discover it was EXACTLY what I have been craving:

wounded hero
Adorable child
Sweet emotion
Romance galore

All the things! The perfect package and I absolutely adored this story!

The narration is great, though it sometimes like I was being read to (vs. experiencing the story). However, something about how this narrator does kid voices makes them adorable by 10x. So I completely enjoyed it and highly recommend!

So sweet!

What a beautiful story! This book is both heart wrenching and heartwarming. Worth It All is the story of JT, the McKinney brother who has kept himself distant from his family. JT is focused on the future without realizing how much he is allowing the past to hold him back. Paige wants to protect her daughter by avoiding the mistakes of her own past.
Claudia Connor draws these beautifully flawed but heartbreakingly strong characters who have to make the hard decisions to follow what their heart wants or put someone else’s dreams first.
I listened to most of this on audiobook and loved the perfect narration!

Beautiful with heat and heart!

The narrator didn’t change voices and the characters were difficult to comprehend who was who.

Bad narrator

This was a great story - one that I hated to see end. It was worth it all!

I love this series. But sill having an issue with the narrator. Not impressed with her.

OVERALL THIS WAS A PRETTY GOOD BOOK BUT NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO IN THE SERIES. THE YOUNGEST BROTHER. J.T. WHO HAS LOST HIS LEG IN AN AUTO WRECK AND HIS GIRLFRIED LOSES THE BABY HE JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT SENDS HIM IN TO DEEP DEPRESSION. HE LATER MEETS A YOUNG 5 YEAR OLD WHO LOST HER LEG TO A BIRTH DEFECT AND THE LITTLE GIRL CAPTURES HIS HEART AS WELL AS HER MOTHER DOES TOO. THERE IS A DIFFERENT NARRATOR FOR THIS BOOK. SHE'S OKAY BUT JUST NOT AS GOOD AS THE NARRATOR FOR THE FIRST TWO BOOKS AND SHE CAUSED ME NOT TO LIKE THIS BOOK AS MUCH. THE STORY IS A GOOD ONE BUT THERE WAS A LOT MORE EXCITMENT IN THE OTHER TWO BOOKS WHICH I THINK DISAPPOINTED ME AND CAUSE ME TO RATE THIS STORY WITH A LOW RATING.

I fell in love with The Saga of the McKinney Brothers and this book did continue with the entire line of great storytelling and I want them to continue. I can't wait for more book.

I have loved every one of the books in Claudia Connor's McKinney Brothers Series (I've also loved every one of those McKinney brothers!) This was a great addition to the series.

I really enjoyed Jake and Paige's story and loved catching up with the McKinney family. It's always great to see favorite characters from previous books firmly entrenched in their happily ever after. This was a sweet story about three people coming to realize their own value. Jake and Paige both have reasons to feel broken and less than worthy of love. Their love story is one of redemption and restoration. And their mutual love of a sweet, precocious little girl sparks the creation of a family both were afraid to hope for. The love and acceptance Casey finds in her expanding family helps her to realize that she is perfect just as she is.

The story was sweet, entertaining, and heartwarming. There are some steamy parts but nothing too graphic and the language is pretty clean (no gratuitous use of the f-bomb). In my opinion, definitely worth a credit. I listened to it all in one day and will likely listen to it again in the future.

Great Addition to the Series
