Publisher's summary

Paige Roberts learned to fend for herself growing up. Now she's doing everything possible to give her daughter, Casey, the stability she never had. But when the vivacious five-year-old decides that she's done wearing her prosthesis, Paige faces her toughest challenge yet: trusting a handsome, brooding stranger who simply wants to help.

JT McKinney lost more than his leg in a car accident that stole his dreams of pro football. Eight years later he's made a new life for himself far away from his old one. His business is developing cutting-edge prosthetics, and he's more than happy to turn his attention to machines instead of people. Still, he can't shake the feeling that something's missing.

When JT gets the chance to help Paige's daughter, he takes it. He never planned on the two of them tearing down his walls or teaching him to believe in himself again. Paige might not believe in happily ever afters, but JT wants more than anything to be her prince. They'll both have to let go of the past if they want a future.

Contains mature themes.

WORTH IT ALL

OVERALL THIS WAS A PRETTY GOOD BOOK BUT NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TWO IN THE SERIES. THE YOUNGEST BROTHER. J.T. WHO HAS LOST HIS LEG IN AN AUTO WRECK AND HIS GIRLFRIED LOSES THE BABY HE JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT SENDS HIM IN TO DEEP DEPRESSION. HE LATER MEETS A YOUNG 5 YEAR OLD WHO LOST HER LEG TO A BIRTH DEFECT AND THE LITTLE GIRL CAPTURES HIS HEART AS WELL AS HER MOTHER DOES TOO. THERE IS A DIFFERENT NARRATOR FOR THIS BOOK. SHE'S OKAY BUT JUST NOT AS GOOD AS THE NARRATOR FOR THE FIRST TWO BOOKS AND SHE CAUSED ME NOT TO LIKE THIS BOOK AS MUCH. THE STORY IS A GOOD ONE BUT THERE WAS A LOT MORE EXCITMENT IN THE OTHER TWO BOOKS WHICH I THINK DISAPPOINTED ME AND CAUSE ME TO RATE THIS STORY WITH A LOW RATING.

Nice

Nice story, but predictable. Wonderful look into th emotions of amputees. Will be a good tool in helping these broken souls heal.

So sweet!

For whatever reason, I’ve had this book sitting in my audible library for months, but kept putting it off. When I recently found myself in an audio slump, I decided to finally give it a try only to discover it was EXACTLY what I have been craving:

wounded hero
Adorable child
Sweet emotion
Romance galore

All the things! The perfect package and I absolutely adored this story!

The narration is great, though it sometimes like I was being read to (vs. experiencing the story). However, something about how this narrator does kid voices makes them adorable by 10x. So I completely enjoyed it and highly recommend!

Beautiful with heat and heart!

What a beautiful story! This book is both heart wrenching and heartwarming. Worth It All is the story of JT, the McKinney brother who has kept himself distant from his family. JT is focused on the future without realizing how much he is allowing the past to hold him back. Paige wants to protect her daughter by avoiding the mistakes of her own past.
Claudia Connor draws these beautifully flawed but heartbreakingly strong characters who have to make the hard decisions to follow what their heart wants or put someone else’s dreams first.
I listened to most of this on audiobook and loved the perfect narration!

Bad narrator

The narrator didn’t change voices and the characters were difficult to comprehend who was who.

This was a great story - one that I hated to see end. It was worth it all!

Terrible Narrator!

The plot was predictable but an enjoyable, easy read. The narration was absolutely terrible. Very little distinction between the character's voices and she read so quickly at times that it was hard to follow.

Oh, Brother...how many more are there?

So this is the third McKinney brother book and we're seeing a theme. Lots of brothers. All physically fit, hot and handsome. All from a close family but something has them estranged. But then a sweet woman ( and her kids ) helps them to see that family matters most and brings them back in to the fold.

Having said that, though, each brother's story is unique and all are interesting and worth the listen.

In this story, adversity is overcome and what was once a tragedy leads to a unique and successful business. The main male character is attracted to the female lead but it is the plight of the daughter that gives him the courage to make more of their relationship. It was a good story.

I fell in love with The Saga of the McKinney Brothers and this book did continue with the entire line of great storytelling and I want them to continue. I can't wait for more book.
