About this listen

Mistaken identity, drunk texts, and hysterical mishaps...just another day in my life.

Girls all over the world spill the tea to me about their most intimate questions.

They thank me for talking about sex with them.

For fixing their love lives.

I wonder if I’d still be a relationship influencer if they knew what a train wreck my own love life is?

If I was writing anyone else advice, it would say things like:

Never drunk-text your ex-boyfriend.

No, seriously, that’s a terrible idea.

But if you insist, maybe double-check the number first.

Oops.

But I guess I give good...text, because the stranger I messaged wrote back.

And I responded.

He doesn’t have to put up with my colorful personality - as my hot next-door neighbor describes me. Or my messy schedule.

This relationship is as seemingly perfect as my online persona.

Until we agree to meet up.

When he meets the real me, will he hate me forever?

Or will we be one day telling our grandkids about that wrong text, right love?

USA Today best-selling author Claudia Burgoa brings the flirty fun in this cozy stand-alone rom-com about secret lovers risking it all for romance.

Outstanding story and narration

Having read this book a while ago I was excited how it played out in audio. With a cast that includes narration by Aaron Shedlock , Brooke Bloomingdale , Jason Clarke , Pippa Jayne , Teddy Halmilton and, Virginia Rose I couldn’t wait to listen and I was not disappointed.

This is one of my favourite books from Claudia Burgoa, it ticked all the boxes for me with characters who you cannot help but fall for and I was totally invested from the first to the last word in Percy and Chad’s story.

This is a feel good story that had me smiling and laughing throughout and I was sad when it ended. Not only did I fall for Percy and Chad but the secondary characters were highly entertaining and brought an additional layer to the story.

Can opposite’s truly attract? Percy is outgoing and quirky, whilst Chad is a man who loves to keep to himself. This slow burn romance was entertaining, the only question is will they both take a leap of faith and in doing so find their forever love?

The performances by all the narrators were spot on and I loved hoe they played off one another. This was already one of my favourite books but the narration brought this to life for me.

A fun rom-com

One night Persy mistakenly drunk texts a stranger instead of her ex-boyfriend. They end up having a connection and grow closer as they continue to text. It's nothing like the more antagonistic relationship she and her next door neighbor have, and neither realize at first that they are actually texting each other.

Things, of course, get more complicated - and entertaining - when Persy and her texting buddy decide to meet. It was fun seeing the two sides to their relationship and how everything came together in the end for their HEA.

I really enjoyed this Claudia Burgoa rom-com! It is a great start to the series.

The narrators were well cast and did a fantastic job with the characters and story. I hope to listen to more books from them in the future.

Amazing!

I could not stop laughing I think. The hilarious texts and banter between Persy and Ford just about did me in from the first interaction. They couldn't be more opposite but that's what makes them work.

It's not just them that make the story but also all the other characters; their families, friends, etc.

This is fun, flirty, sweet, funny, and sexy and the cast of narrators just brought this to a whole new level. I practically could not stop listening!

It’s a good one when…

You know it’s a good book when you forgo much needed sleep to finish it. All the narrators performance as Percy, Ford and all the secondary characters were amazing. Claudia Burgoa’s words brought to life never fails to amaze me. I laughed out loud and even got choked up a couple of times. Overall, this is a great audio to get lost in!

Listen To This Audiobook

I love this story about Percy and Ford. I thought it was funny how she called him “her grumpy neighbor”, but still allowed him to join in her podcasts. I loved her personality and how she would do everything she could to annoy him.

I don’t want to say too much about the story because I don’t want to give anything away, but the secondary characters are just as amazing as the two main characters. I loved the fact that there was an ensemble of voice actors, and that the same people will narrate for the next books. I’m so happy that we get to hear about Nix and Eros.

This is such a happy, feel good, story. It’ll make you smile and cheer for happily ever after. I want Ford to be my next book boyfriend. 🤣

Fabulous rom com

This book is so fabulous, fun, engaging and entertaining.

This slow burn, hidden identity (both leads) will have you laughing out loud and going on a slow burn adventure!

Persy is a quirky, upbeat blogger is tends to be high energy and positive. She happens to live next door to a grumpy dude.

Ford is a grumpy, billionaire and a bit of a recluse. He doesn’t want people to know who he is or where he is. He is anti-relationship and a bit of a bully (he does redeem himself).

An accidental text brings two people together who share personal information freely…more freely than they would share with others. It is a really sweet, funny and emotional story.

Brooke Bloomingdale and Jason Clarke do a fabulous job with the narration. The drama, emotion, humor and personality they bring to the characters is fantastic!

Full of charm and wit

Claudia Burgoa has written some terrific characters, but the many colorful characters in Wrong Text, Right Love take the prize. This one is packed full of great characters and a couple you can't help but love. The romance is a very slow burn, but it's really more about the journey. And what a journey it is. Ford and Persy are hilarious whether they're squaring off and trading barbs or finding a truce they can both live with or realizing that they might have something more.
Then you have Persy's completely crazy family, not that she's the stable one either, plus the text messages going back and forth between - well, between everyone. There is a flirtation via text, but there's also a lot of texting and emailing back and forth between everyone, and all of it just adds to the charm of this book. And make no mistake, this is one completely charming story that's a wonderful mix of enemies to friends to lovers, secret lovers, and even a bit of forced proximity.
In a world that's gone crazy, we could all use a bit of laughter, and this RomCom is chock full of laughs and fun, and a romance you just can't help but root for.
I absolutely loved this book when I read it. Then narrators Brooke Bloomingdale, Jason Clarke, Aaron Shedlock, Teddy Hamilton, Virginia Rose, Pippa Jayne, and Austenne Grey took it a step further and hit it out of the park. The narration is spot on, from the witty banter to the embarrassing family moments to the feels. There are some voices I'm familiar with and some that were new to me, but they all have one thing in common. The narration is excellently done.
This was already one of my favorite books, now it's one of my favorite listens too.

A texting version of You've Got Mail

This book was funny and sweet. If you like You've Got Mail, you'll love this book. The characters were easy to root for and the banter was great. I loved that the text exchanges were done in duet and it was fun to find out that the secondary characters that appear in other books were portrayed by those narrators in this book. I can't wait to read the rest of the series. Jason Clarke and Brooke Bloomingdale were fantastic as the main characters. Highly recommend this book if you are looking for a light-hearted romcom with a little spice.
