About this listen

Rosey
I never thought I’d be a runaway bride. But when it came down to it, I just couldn’t marry the wrong man.
So, I ran.
And somehow, I ended up in Star Falls, Colorado—stranded, no luggage, no plan—in a wedding dress with a past I’d rather forget.
Fate lands me in the only available rental in town, a cozy little cabin… right next door to Byron Miller, the brooding billionaire who wants nothing to do with me. Or this town.

Byron
I left Star Falls years ago, along with every mistake. Now I’m back, determined to build a luxury resort that might just rewrite my past.
The last thing I need is a distraction—especially not one like the runaway bride that moved in next door. She has too many secrets and a smile so wide, I just can’t look away.
But no matter how hard I try to keep my distance, there’s something about her, that refuses to be ignored.
Snow falls. Sparks fly. Late-night porch talks turn into something more, something neither of us expected. But Rosey’s past isn’t far behind, and my future here is hanging by a thread.
She’s just passing through. I’m trying not to put down roots. But Star Falls, Colorado has its own plan.

A standalone romance, perfect for fans of small-town romance, sizzling chemistry, and fresh starts.

🏡 Small Town
🏔️ Forced Proximity
💍 Runaway Bride
💵 Billionaire Romance

All the swoon, spice, and small-town feels. Byron is honestly GOALS. Immediately to the top of the book boyfriends list. The way he's so selfless and caring. I can't deal. I love this man. Rosey was a pure delight, her positive outlook on life despite some awful things happening to her was just the breath of fresh air Byron needed. She was very much the light in his darkness.

Samantha Brentwood & Jason Clark really gave us the characters Rosey & Byron to perfection. Both are remarkable bringing the characters to life. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.

Highly recommend the book AND the audiobook!

One runaway bride. One grumpy billionaire. One small town that changes everything.

oh the story was just what I needed something to make me smile from ear to ear. I loved so many things about this story I loved how she stood on her own two feet and made the right decisions for her and how she just went and did it it had to be scary as all get out. and of course I love Byron he's just adorable not like any billionaire I would ever know but I doubt I would ever know any. but he's not what I picture he put he's down to earth and very sweet this was a sweet Romance made me laugh made me smile and was extremely fun to listen to the narrators did an excellent job with the story bringing it to life

just what I needed

Byron is back in his hometown with hopes to win over the locals to ease his business venture on the town.

Rosey is a runaway bride who happened to land in Star Falls, Colorado after fleeing her over bearing mother and her wedding.

Rosey has nothing, but the wedding dress on and her mobile phone, when she realizes that she needs a place to stay and there’s no hotel rooms available and the good citizens of Star Falls are pointing her in the direction of Byron Miller.

Byron is happy to put her up for a few nights in an extra cabin, but he feels like they have a mutual attraction.

Funny, heartwarming story about finding one self and learning to trust others with “the true meaning of family”.

Love a Good Boss/Employee Romance

When Rosey, clad in her wedding gown, jumped into that cab and fled to the airport, I fell fast in love with this story. It was kismet that Byron made the trip into town that very night and was sitting in Grizzly's when the beautiful stranger in the wedding dress stumbled in looking for a room. And the rest, as they say, is another great Louise Bay romance!
I love this story. I love the characters and how they each address their personal issues, gain understanding of their pasts and help one another become more confident. Sweet and spicy. Happily Ever After guaranteed.
Jason Clarke and Samantha Brentmoor are the perfect narrators to give voice to these terrific characters.

This book delivered in layers of excitement and self discovery and character development. The people feel real with just the right amount of complexity. Listening to the other books aren’t necessarily but doing so makes a few moments even more exciting and suspenseful because you know the history and can almost anticipate what is going on. I gleamed so much while listening that other people noticed. The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars is because of the male narrator. I really like the tone of his voice but it was so slow and it felt like he was overly dramatic and acting too much. I never felt like he was the character, it was obvious that a nice voice was reading a book and while the previous books casted people who made me feel completely swept into the world of the book. The guy was pretty good with the female voice which I didn’t expect. The woman narrator was ok, she also seemed a bit like a novice compared to the previous women casted but there were believable moments. The story line and character development was a huge success in my opinion and the only reason why I recommend the book. This is one where I wouldn’t probably recommend the physical copy but the audio addition good if you are short on time. I looooove the story

Excellent Story - Male voice a bit slow

Love Fast is the story of Rosie, a runaway bride, and Byron, a wealthy individual who returns to his hometown to build a Billionaire Club for the ultra-rich. He attempts to help Rosie who has arrived in his hometown, after jilting her groom Byron hides his identity and forms a friendship with Rosie until she sees him at the Club while training as an employee. This audio book is well narrated with the characters well presented with the appropriate emotions. Byron and Rosie have past family issues which they both learn to face over time. This is another great book by Louise Bay which translates extremely well onto an audio book

This story was so good. I think it’s one of Louise Bay’s best🙌 No big plot twist needed. The way this story is told makes it perfect.

Brilliant narration and character development

“Choosing pancakes was hard enough”
That line should tell you how annoying the main character is. How is she 28, yet never ordered food on her own at a restaurant? She keeps mentioning her relationship with her ex-fiancee like it was a lifetime relationship but they were together for only 2 years 🙄 She keeps mentioning she grow up in a trailer, a fact that personally feels like continuous stereotypes by the author. Has the author ever lived in a trailer? Because it seems she thinks people who live or lived in trailer are all classless uneducated hillbillies.

She is presented as a innocent inexperienced 28 year old woman who has always lived with her mom and sisters. Her mom kept almost all her money all the time, she has never left her home state, she never went to college or even had good paying jobs, she has never eaten alone or even order on her at a restaurant. Yet she so smart and comes out with great ideas to save a billionaire investment. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I don’t know what’s going on with Louise Bay. She was one of my favorite authors but lately her books, her characters are so annoying and difficult to like. Full of whiny annoying stereotypes and unbelievable characters.

Disappointed
