Publisher's summary

In USA Today best-selling author Sarah Fox's delicious new Pancake House mystery, it's up to Marley McKinney to discover the waffle truth behind a rival's murder....

Winter has come to Wildwood Cove, and riding in on the chill is Wally Fowler. Although he's been away for years, establishing his reputation as the self-proclaimed Waffle King, the wealthy blowhard has returned to the coastal community to make money, not friends - by pitting his hot and trendy Waffle Kingdom against Marley McKinney's cozy pancake house, The Flip Side. Wally doesn't see anything wrong in a little healthy competition, until he's murdered in his own state-of-the art kitchen.

Marley isn't surprised when the authorities sniff around The Flip Side for a motive, but it's her best friend Lisa who gets grilled, given her sticky history with the victim. When a second murder rocks the town, it makes it harder than ever for Marley to clear Lisa's name. Marley's afraid she's next in line to die - and the way things are looking, the odds of surviving her investigation could be stacked against her.

Two Murders solved

I was surprised by “who done it” I never would have guessed. Then having two mysteries solved was icing on the cake. Very good book!

Another great book in the series

If you haven’t started yet make sure you start with book 1. Each book could stand alone, but like with all good series you listen from book 1 thru the last. This series has drama, death, and love making twist and turns along the way. I’m not sure but I think this was narrated by someone other than the first 3, and it could be me the other narration I enjoyed better.

THIS SERIES KEEPS GETTING BETTER

CURRENT AND COLD CASE MYSTERIES KEEP MARLEY BUSY. SIENNA IS COMING INTO HER OWN, AND DEVELOPMENTS IN THE ROMANCE DEPARTMENT. GOOD STORY, GOOD CHARACTERS, GOOD NARRATION.

Pretty Good

Yeast of Eden is a pretty good cozy mystery. The characters are well developed and the plot is pretty good. Marley got on my nerves sometimes because she simply can't leave things alone. But, that's also what makes her a great character and why I listened to all of the books in this series. Marley's interest in people and justice and her easy going personality makes her a natural investigator. There was a bit too much focus on her relationship with Brett. The mystery was interesting and I figured it out right before Marley did. This is a well plotted story and I look forward to the next book in this series.

For Love Or Money

I loved the book. The story had two mystery's. One that had twists and turns and lots of suspects and one that was decades old with a love story
