About this listen

Sometimes love needs a second time around. Get swept up in this story of a woman finding someone when she is finally ready to love again.

Marriage is an experience that single mom Joanna Parsons doesn’t plan to repeat, no matter what her daughter thinks. Tanner Lund feels the same way. Like Joanna, he got divorced after a short, disastrous marriage, and he’s raising his daughter alone. But the girls have other plans in mind—and it involves the best friends becoming sisters. Both Tanner and Joanna are determined to avoid marriage, yet there’s no resisting their growing attraction…

I loved this novel! I could really relate to it since my husband & I met when our children were teenagers. I especially enjoyed the humor in the story. It was well written & the narrator was wonderful. I will definitely look for more books written by the same author & narrator.

Fun. & Lighthearted

I very much enjoyed Yours & Mine. Its cute & charming. But the so-called bonus book that follows is an entirely different flavor. It contains unsavory characters with potty mouths & bad character. It seems a very poor decision to place 2 such different books on the same Audible credit.
So, while I recommend Yours & Mine, I vote for skipping Home for the Holidays altogether--if it were the only book here there would be nothing worthwhile.

Watch out for the 2nd " bonus" book

The story wasn't bad but the narrator voice for the girls was very grating. Almost had to return title because of it.

Teenage voices full of whining. Irritating.
Parents. Ok. Story line predictable drama too much sometimes by kids

Ok but. Whining teenagers parents ok

This story felt dated, both from references to a landline to outdated ideas of women needing to be married. Overall, it's a sweet tale of two tweens fixing their parents up, but the outdated ideas frustrated me.

Story is dated

I couldn’t give this a five star because the story just wasn’t that great. I read a lot of Debbies books but this one didn’t trip my triggers.

Sorta boring

The second story is 1 hour of some other book it is not a short story that has an ending as they indicate it very much ends on a cliff hanger so they want you to go hunt for another book just skip the short story it's not worth it

Skip the second story don't bother listening
