Publisher's summary

Brad Widstrom’s human puppy left him. To keep his mind off his loneliness, he drills all his extra time into coaching his kickball team. After a game one night, he goes to a pet-play party. He doesn’t expect to meet someone who makes his blood sizzle. The thing is, the man he wants isn’t a puppy, he’s a cat. Brad doesn’t know the first thing about them. One thing is certain, though, and that’s how much he wants Harley.

Harley Silvain is used to being ignored. Owners prefer the friendlier pet — dogs, not cats — and Harley is anything but sociable. There’s something pleasing about having an owner take care of him, but he’s not sure about this new man, Brad. Harley keeps waiting for Brad to decide he’s too much work. He’s sure he’ll be replaced by a mutt.

When Brad’s friend asks him to take in a pup who has been abused by his owner, Harley hates the idea. It’s one step closer to Brad dropping him, and he’s not willing to let a canine in the house. No matter how many times Brad reassures Harley he’d never leave him for a dog, Harley doesn’t believe it. If they want to make this relationship work, Brad will need to help Harley past his insecurities, or it’ll implode before it even begins.

Great book

Love the book, cute and adorable hot stuff.
The narrator did a good job catching people’s personalities.
But he talked very fast. This is the first time I had to slow down the speed on audible to actually catch what’s been said.

aww🐱😍

This was my first kitty play story. I throughly enjoyed the story. I found the characters to be well fleshed out for a slightly insta-love story. Great narration as well.

Nice variation on pet play

This was a nice variation on puppy play. I’ve read a couple of books with pet play in them but never one where the characters were so immersed into it. Harley’s human personality is very much like a cats and so the transition from person to feline worked really well. There is a nice hurt/comfort to the story and Brad should be given either a gold star or an award on patience. Slow burn in the romance.

It’s the first time I’ve listened to Christopher Solon and he did a very nice job of character voices. He had Harley sounding snobbish at the start of the story, insecure in the middle and content at the end. All done with the right inflection. He also was really good voicing Quan’s hyper personality.

Love this book!

You've Got to Be Kitten Me is a wonderfully written story about Brad and Harley. Brad's puppy left him and when he ends up at a pet play party the last thing he's looking for is another relationship. But he finds Harley, who isn't a puppy but a kitty. I love how Brad wants to be a good owner for is pets whether they're a puppy or kitty. I really enjoyed Brad and Harley's love journey together as they learn how to make their relationship work, even when Kwan comes to stay while he's looking for a new owner. I love Brad's patience as he learns what Harley needs. This is such a sweet story and I would love a story about Kwan. If you enjoy pet play stories you don't want to miss this one. Definitely recommend.
Narrator Christopher Solon does an amazing job from beginning to end. I really enjoy listening to his voice.

I love Harley!

Christopher Solon is a new to me narrator but I will definitely check out his other narrations. Harley was a very intriguing character and his voice fit the cat he embodied purrfectly (pun intended).
This book was very unique and just the right combination of hotness and emotion.

Wow!! Absolutely Amazing!

Ki Brightly and Meg Bawden are both new to me authors. While I've read, and listened to, puppy play books, this is a first for Kitty play for me as well. I walked into this book not knowing what to expect and walked out wanting more from both these authors! The world development was outstanding, the main characters were superbly written and the side characters were adorable. I hope that Ki and Meg are planning on doing a a second book to this with the side characters.

A sweet kitten play romance!🐾

𝐼’𝑣𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 𝑐𝑎𝑡 𝑏𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑒.
~ 𝐿𝑢𝑐𝑘𝑦 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑠.

Brad Widsyrom just broke up with his ex, they just didn't fit well together.
When his friend Nicky, tells him that there's a happening pet play party going on, he doesn't expect to meet anyone special so soon, but a particular misty blue eyed stranger with an adorable pink collar called for his attention.
With his sleek strides and prim demaneour he is curious as too what breed of pup he identifies as.
When he takes to ruffling the beautiful stranger's hair, he is shocked by the reaction he receives.
He can't help but feel attracted to the mysterious stranger and what he has to offer, even if it's not what he thought he desired.

𝐺𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑐𝑎𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑡𝑜 𝑛𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔, ℎ𝑢ℎ? 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑑𝑜𝑛’𝑡 𝑝𝑙𝑎𝑦? 𝑇ℎ𝑎𝑡’𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑜 𝑏𝑎𝑑

Harley Silvain is good at his actuarian job. He is in complete control of his professional life which meant outside of it he wanted to give up control.
He went to the party to find an owner, someone who liked the quieter kind of pet. A classy kitten like him didn't fit in with the mutts at the party
No one here would be interested in him, except for this one guy who kept coming back despite showing him his claws.

When Harley and Brad get together, Harley is just waiting for the other shoe to drop, for Brad to decide he doesn't really want a kitty for a pet. His insecurities come to surface when Brad's friend, asks him to temporarily take in an abused pup. Harley hates the idea of sharing his master. Even if the pup had sad eyes and he can't help but feel a little sympathetic towards him.

Will Brad help Harley overcome his insecurities, or will it get the better of him?

This was such a sweet kitten play romance. I absolutely loved Harley's personality, at first he comes across as snarky and confident but under that facade lies his insecurities which are real and relatable. I loved how Brad didn't seem to mind that Harley was a kitten and seamlessly adapted to being the perfect master.
I am eagerly looking forward to Kwan's story, he was such an adorable pup and he deserves someone to treat him right.

Christopher Solon's audio delivery and narration was absolutely brilliant and engaging!

Not my normal read but it was adorable!!

Very much not my normal read. It was the first pet play book I've read or listened to, but I love Christopher Solon's voice so I wanted to give it a listen. I ended up being drawn into the story and the characters. I loved the different voices that Christopher did and there was enough separation between the two male leads that it was extremely enjoyable. A book that is obviously not for everyone as it deals with pet play, but I really really loved it. Highly recommend!!

Cute story, Good Narration

I enjoyed this cute story about kitty play, statistics and relationship baggage. I liked both Brad and Harley, they made good match where Harley was feisty, high maintenance and Brad clueless, trying to make things work. Narrator was new to me and I think he did a good job with the story and voices for all the characters. This was an entertaining listening experience.

Absolutely loved this pet play audiobook!

I instantly tell in love with this heartwarming and heart-wrenching book. These characters faced realistic emotions in their lives. Sometimes finding that right person can make your life complete. These authors did an outstanding job with their character and plot development. Brad is lonely and looking for a man that enjoys being a dog in the world of pet play. He is attracted to Harley at a pet play party. Brad is open minded when Harley turns out to be a cat. I couldn't help but fall in love with Brad. He is caring, patient but knows when to put his foot down, loyal, a great lover, and protective. Harley has been left heartbroken many times and therefore has major trust issues. He does have a great heart when he allows it to be shown. His insecurities really come out when Kwan comes to stay with them. Harley hates dogs and believes Brad will get rid of him in favor of the human dog. Their love journey will be a rocky one but also one that is so heartwarming. I loved the surprise twist at the end.

Christopher Solon is a superb narrator. I love it when a narrator instantly immerses me in a story with his voice. He made me feel the emotions of these characters. He put his heart into this story and this made a remarkable story even better. He gave these characters distinctive voices and brought them to life. Christopher is definitely an excellent storyteller. I highly recommend this Audible book. It is one of those stories that you want to know how it will end, but you don't want it to end. It will be one of those that I will listen to again. Happy listening!
