• Let It Go - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 6-2-25 #1576
    Jun 2 2025

Well, I went back to back with today’s thoughts - leaning on The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) again, because I saw an important need to share this. I know I need this reminder on a daily basis, and I know others do too. This message is “Let It Go. If you can’t do anything about it then let it go. Don’t be a prisoner to the things you can’t change.” This is something that I’ve been focusing in on that if I’m looking back too often on things that I’ve done, not done, said, didn’t say, etc., that I need to grab onto the lesson to help me be better & then move on. Again, where are my feet at? I’m here. Right now, I’m where I’m at. The choices I’ve made in my life have helped to guide me where I’m at today. That’s what I need to focus on, so that my day can be great and that helps my tomorrows be great too. That way I will have a better connection to my past, a stronger one, one that has a more powerful & positive impact on my future, “todays”. Again, this message hit me strong, so I figured that others might find it helpful too. Thanks for listening. • Being A Good Person - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1575
    Jun 2 2025

Found a great reminder - a simple reminder that I know I need and I think the entire world needs too. It comes from The Mindfulness Meditation Institute (@TrainingMindful) and the message is: “Being a good person does not depend on your religion, status in life, race, skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how you treat others.” So much of what we see on how some people treat others - it’s a horrible lesson of what not to do. It seems humans have never gotten this lesson right. I, of course, am one of those humans that needs to work on this “skill”, “choices”, “habits”, etc. One thing I will be doing, every day - is to try and get better on how I treat others and this starts with me treating me, much better than what I’ve been doing. Hope this helps you too. Thanks for listening. • Go After or Just Settle - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Fri. 5-30-25 #1574
    May 30 2025

Found another post that I really thought was created just to show me. However, I didn’t see my name attached to it, but it sure felt like it was. This came from Succeeded Mind (@SucceededMind) and here it is: “Either you go after the life you want, or you settle for the life you get.” This made me do a deep reflection on at first I still need to “go after” more and create more of what I want in life. But then, while recording this episode, it hit me that I have AN INCREDIBLY AWESOME LIFE with my wife, kids, my family, along with my profession of being a lifelong educator and coach!! So for me to settle for my life (I’m in love with my life), but … I know I can keep getting better at this life I love so much, that’s for sure. I hope you can make a connection to some of these points for the life you want or already have parts of it. One thing for sure, we don’t have as much time as we think we do. Thanks for listening. • Be Humble - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Thur. 5-29-25 #1573
    May 29 2025

When I saw this post from Self-Care Canvas (@selfcarecanvas) it of course came to me as so many people are showing themselves to be the exact opposite (multiple times a day) of this quote: “Be humble and never think you are better than anyone else. We all leave this world with nothing.” It’s both sad to me and also amazing how so many don’t get this simple, yet valuable point. I know / I believe that we do leave with the love & relationships that we had for others in our lifetime! We leave that behind for others too. Now, I also believe that the world has SO MANY examples of people living lives that are not humble, not serving others, not showing kindness & empathy, etc. So we have plenty of examples of what we don’t want to be in life. We need to be the example for others as to a better way to live our lives. Again, sorry for getting fired up and emotional with this episode, but I’m beginning to see things with a bit more clarity every single day!! I hope this helps you to do the same. • Strong People Rarely Have This - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Wed. 5-28-25 #1572
    May 28 2025

I found a super strong & powerful post that got me fired up and it only has seven words to it. This came from the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) “Strong people rarely have an easy past.” As I got to thinking about this, I started seeing myself in a way that I usually don’t see myself at all. I realize I’m a lot stronger than I give myself credit for due to the “storms” I have been through. It also occurred to me that I am a lot stronger and better because of the storms that my loved ones have gone through as well. This episode I got a bit fired up and emotional (I know, big surprise… LOL) as I really started to see myself and my loved ones in not only a different light, but a much stronger & clearer light too!! I hope this episode shows you about the true statement from Morrie Schwartz, from Mitch Albom’s “Tuesdays With Morrie” - where he reminded us that “death ends a life, not a relationship.” If we keep working on our relationships in life, and not what the world tells us is important, we will keep getting stronger for sure. • Dear Younger Me - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Tues. 5-27-25 #1571
    May 27 2025

WOW.. this one hit me hard… right in the heart. It came from liminal (@Liminal1988) and it’s a note that is titled “Dear Younger Me.” It starts out “You didn’t know many things. You didn’t know how life would turn out, or why certain things were happening to you. And that’s ok….” and the last couple of lines “.... You’re still learning, still healing. There’s always something good in you. There was always something special about you. Then, and even now.” This got me thinking about my younger self and how that part of me (all the parts of my younger self) is still with me. The saying of how our past is our best mentor still rings true. I think it becomes even more valuable and special, when we are able to connect it to the memories, feelings, emotions, etc., of our younger self(s). Make sure you look this one up & take it to heart to make changes that you can connect with for your life! Thanks for listening. • Strength From Storms - Daily Thought With Coach Daly - Mon. 5-26-25 #1570
    May 26 2025

Found a great post from Inspiration & More (@LifeWithJohn) where we were reminded that we always need to “Always remember that there is a strength within you that is greater than any storm.” Since we all face storms, this is something we all need to remember - we have been through tough times & we will continue to go through them. Since again, our Past is our best mentor, we can lean on those experiences that we have been through. As I thought about this more and more, I felt better about the storms that I have been through. Also remember that the storms never last!! Thanks for listening. • This Crazy Journey - Motivation Monday Game Plan - #1569
    May 26 2025

This post hit home with me simply because I think we need more people pulling for others rather than hoping that others lose or have troubles. I’m certainly trying to follow what the Power of Positivity (@LIVEpositivity) shares here with this: “Call me crazy but I love to see people happy and succeeding. Life is a journey, not a competition.” To me, this is a good kind of “crazy” to be - encouraging others to win in life compared to being a critic and wanting others to lose. The world needs more people to look at celebrating others, instead of criticizing people. Thanks for listening.
