• ME Time Episode 16 - Bestie part 2 - is Jane in for more reminders of her not so healthy past?
    Oct 8 2024

Jane and her bestie have another chat whilst Hazel is busy doing the final edits on her book (watch this space).During the last episode Kirsty dropped Jane in it exposing her not so healthy habits in years gone by, worth a listen for a giggle if you haven’t heard it.

If you are a regular listener you will know how good Jane is at talking about being self compassionate and having a holistic approach to health. But in this episode Jane talks about how taking her own advice isn’t always so easy and how her inner demons have popped up in recent weeks following a comment from one of her Dad’s friends about her not being skinny.

Kirsty and Jane pick through this and have a useful reminder that health isn’t about how we look, or what others think and say and how it’s not just about what we eat. But instead that our self worth isn’t based on what others say or think.

A good reminder its about the small things that make all the difference!

    Mar 4 2024

This weeks episode gives a recap of Hazels four season half marathon and Jane’s drunken marathon before the two share stories of their best work failures.

Of course Jane struggles with the word failure and tries to put the positive slant on it claiming never to have failed anything except a minibus driving test at University...

The chat goes on to Hazel opening up and talking about how a work failure for her turned into the best thing that could have ever happened. Going from crying in the carpark to gathering her energy to do something to put her on a different pathway.
