Céline De Winter is a 31 yo somatic practitioner from Antwerp, Belgium.

After a burn-out at 26 she invested heaps of money, time and energy into her recovery. Only to find out that all this time, she wasn’t connected to her own emotions or feelings.

The death of her father, several years later, was an initiation into everything emotions, trauma & the body.

Now she guides others into the depths of their being—both live and online, as she sees the body as a storyteller for everything that has transpired in our lives.

She strongly believes a revolution is needed in the healing community. She advocates for unshaming emotions & all of your parts through self-compassion and acceptance instead of fixing yourself into healing.

In this episode I’m joined by Amelia Villada. Amelia facilitated so much sister wound healing for me. She embodies community, and sisterhood. She was even gracious enough to share her breastmilk with us as I had low supply with Atlas. She will forever be one of my soul sisters.

We spend this time chatting about how we see so many birthworkers showing up to births trying to rescue their clients from birth itself. We see so many undernourished and unsupported practitioners showing up in these spaces working out their wounds at the feet of the birthing mother. Amelia shares how she is devoting her time currently to recharge so when she returns to birthwork she is doing so from a full cup and from a place of overflow.

Amelia is a community builder, advocate for woman and family centered care, childbirth educator and birth doula. She entered birth work in 2017 as a HypnoBirthing® childbirth educator after experiencing calm births with both her children. After welcoming her 3rd child in 2020 Amelia decided to expand into birth work as a birth doula and midwife assistant. She has a passion for walking alongside women and birthing families as they remember, heal, reclaim & embrace their power in the journey through pregnancy, birth, postpartum & motherhood/parenthood.

Brittany is a Somatic Ecologist, Rewilding Mentor, and Storyteller with over 11 years of experience leading embodied nature-connection programs. Britt is currently completing a pioneering PhD in eco-somatics where her research explores ways of relating to and restoring living ecologies through the body. Her work has received numerous awards for its unique leadership in socio-ecological regeneration Britt also holds a Masters of Environment in Somatic Ecology, and various certifications in rewilding, trauma-informed somatic therapy, permaculture, and the feminine mysteries. Today, Britt offers various programs guiding women through The E.A.R.T.H.D.E Framework, an experiential map for conversing with the body, soul, and nature, based on her PhD research. In 2023, Britt was also a contestant on the popular tv show, Naked and Afraid, which is one of the most challenging survival experiences in the world.

When I was in the conception phase of The Rooted Woman, I had no idea what was in store for me. I didn't realize this was the beginning of a death, and rebirth for me, but here we are!

In this episode, I share how The Rooted Woman has evolved and is asking to come through me as a deeper, longer container than the initial 13 weeks. This is a membership, a collective if you will made specifically for holistic entrepreneurs (herbalist, birthworker (in any capacity), bodyworker, lightworker, etc.) who are looking to bring wise woman structure into their businesses.

With this, The Rooted Woman has also meant that I am dedicating my energy into midwifing these wise women (re)birth their businesses from conception to rebirth, and with that, I will no longer be facilitating births of babies as they make their arrival earthside.

These women are who are calling out to me - calling me forth into this role and who I am lit up about facilitating during this time in my life.
