• Feeling Behind in Life? Let's Talk Relationships, Career, and Being Queer
    Jul 3 2025

This week’s episode was inspired by a DM I received from a listener who opened up about feeling behind in life when it comes to romantic relationships and their career. Their vulnerability really stuck with me, because it’s such a common feeling, and one I know all too well.

When I was coming to terms with my sexuality, I truly felt like I was on a different timeline than everyone around me — like I was playing catch-up while others were moving forward to certain "milestones." When it came to my career, I struggled with the pressure to stay on a “safe” path for financial stability, instead of following my passions.

In this episode, I talk about real pressures we all face and how we can unlearn them — the ones that weigh especially heavy on millennials and the queer community. Whether it’s feeling behind in love, unsure about your job, or just questioning your timeline, you’re not alone. Let’s unpack the myth of "feeling behind" and explore what it means to align with your true path.

  • Food for Thought (Literally): How Nutrition Impacts Anxiety
    Apr 24 2025

Can what you eat really help ease your mind? In this episode, I dig into the science behind how certain foods and beverages can affect your mental health — especially when it comes to anxiety. I’ll walk you through 9 research-backed foods that have been shown to ease anxious feelings, shout-out the Mediterranean diet (for good reason!), and even unpack why a traditional Indian diet can be so nourishing when prepared the right way. Healing spices like turmeric are amazing for your gut (and your gut is more connected to your brain than you might think).

This episode is based on trusted sources, including a Healthline article written by registered dietitian Brianna Elliott and medically reviewed by Jerlyn Jones, MS, MPA, RDN, LD, CLT, as well as research adapted from a Harvard Health Blog post by Eva Selhub, MD.

If you're curious about how your nutrition and mental health go hand in hand, this one's for you!

  • Love Bombing, Breadcrumbing, and How to Protect Yourself
    Apr 3 2025

Ah love bombing and breadcrumbing - two common terms we hear a LOT but what does it really mean? Is this something you've experienced in your romantic relationships or even friendships? I did some research for this episode and talk about the toxic tactics of love bombing and breadcrumbing which are two forms of emotional manipulation that can leave us feeling confused. I talk about how these behaviours show up in relationships, why they're so harmful, and how to protect yourself from falling into these patterns.
