• 12 | Stop The Toxic Cycle of Striving and Find Rest in God's Love
    Nov 18 2024

My family and I recently took a week-long trip out of state to celebrate my husband and I’s anniversary. Every year instead of getting each other gifts, we take a small trip instead. Traveling is a huge passion for us, but with two kiddos in tow it can be a bit exhausting. Not to mention having minimal personal space and barely any extra downtime - hello hotel living!

Being in an environment like this can leave me feeling a bit chaotic and sometimes even guilty because I’m not consistent with my normal routines.

Have you ever felt this way too? Do you ever feel guilty when you become inconsistent or fall off your routine?

Does it make you feel like you need to work harder to make up for lost time?

Join me today as I uncover the truth that you actually don’t need to work harder or do more in order to be accepted and loved.

I’m going to break down FOUR Biblical truths that will help you go from constantly striving for more to living in peaceful contentment.

If you’re ready to let go of your performance-driven mindset and step into your Godly identity then grab your Bible and let’s get to it!

Verses I reference in today’s show:

    • Ephesians 3:18-19
    • Romans 8:38-39
    • 1 John 4:7-21
    • Romans 5:8

  • 11 | Does God Really Care About What I Eat? What The Bible Has to Say About Our Nutrition
    Nov 11 2024

If you’re anything like me then you’ve had to challenge your mindset around food, struggling between what feels good to eat in the moment and what you know is good for you in the long run.

This struggle is more common than you think, but what you might not know is that the Bible is very clear about this topic. God doesn’t want us to struggle over our food choices by being held bondage to the satisfaction that it brings us.

He wants to set us free from finding our comfort in food and the constant battle to choose between what we want and what we know is best for us.

Come along with me today as we break down 1 Corinthians 10 and what it has to say about our food choices.

I’ll also cover a few practical ways that you can shift your mindset around food and start making God-honoring choices when it comes to your nutrition.

Make sure to grab your Bibles and a notebook to follow along!

Do you ever catch yourself comparing your life to other people’s and then when you do, it leaves you feeling empty or like somehow you’re coming up short?

Comparison is a slippery slope that can lead us away from God’s purposes for our lives and give the devil a foothold on our hearts and minds, allowing him to overtake our joy and peace.

But, when you learn that comparison is a tactic from Satan, you’re able to put on the full armor of God against his schemes and take a stand to get your Godly confidence back.

Today I’m going to walk you through why comparison is holding you back, and how you can overcome it to walk fully in the purposes that God has for you.

  • 06 | We Are Broken Vessels: How God Uses Our Flaws For His Purposes
    Oct 7 2024

There are broken places in your life that you wish you could cover up.

There are painful reminders of your imperfections that overshadow you more days than not.

We all go through life and find ourselves a little broken and work hard to pick up the pieces and put ourselves back together as best as we can.

But, what if I told you that all those broken places, all those flaws, and all those cracks have a purpose? What if I told you that God wants to use your imperfections for His glory?

I want to share with you a powerful message God has placed on my heart recently. I believe that God wants you to break free from the bondage you’ve been under and step out to find freedom from your flaws and learn that He is ultimately sovereign over those areas. God wants to remind you that your imperfections are the places from which His glory shines forth and His strength is made evident.

Today I’m going to dive into why our flaws actually have a purpose and how we can use them to glorify God. I KNOW God is going to move in some powerful ways!

    Verses I cover today:

Galatians 2:20 - “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!”

2 Corinthians 12:9 - “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
