Our desires can become dangerous when they lead us away from the heart of God. Our Godly values, priorities, and moral compass begin to lose its flavor and personal application. When unchecked, they might foster selfishness, impulsiveness, and harmful behavior. Additionally, excessive attachment to desires can create an unending cycle of dissatisfaction, preventing us from finding contentment and inner peace that only comes from God through Christ.
