Even when we look at many organizations on these yards, one that stands out is the Royal Court who is surely to be eye catching at every event. Yet, behind every iconic look is a hairstylist that sets the tone for all to see. Don’t worry, the People’s Princess Podcast got you covered.

This conversation features a fellow Midwest girl, all the way from Minnesota, Chidi or @donebychidi, who is the FIRST hairstylist for the Royal Court organization, starting with the 2024-2025 Dynamic Royal Court at the Prairie View A&M University from the Miss Sophomore to the 92nd Miss Prairie View University giving undeniably elegant and of course LAID looks that might make you throw a shoe at her.(It’s that good, believe me.) Many want to leave a legacy, but it’s how you give your all is the many keys of being remembered. Beyond her achievements, the fashion, and her content, she is a remarkable individual who has a story to tell. Kasyana Bouie, or to many Kasy, is an example of someone worth getting her flowers. Originally from the home of Black Hollywood, Atlanta, Georgia, Kasyana was influenced by the her hometown and her upbringing to become someone bigger than she can even fathom. Since her first steps on the campus of Fort Valley State University, Kasy has made a huge impact on everyone from the students to the staff and faculty, to even those who are looking to become a wildcat. Even through the things life throws her way, she has repeatedly made it a mission to create an atmosphere that embodies the everlasting joy and determination pushing forward a new generation of wildcats to be themselves and go after everything they’re wishing to see themselves accomplish.

With such a beautiful soul and so much ahead of her, you can’t help but to ask “What can’t she do”? That answer will be revealed throughout the conversation and through her experiences. Meet Raven Edwards, a Junior biology major who is a member of impactful organizations such as URGE(United for Reproductive and Gender Equity) and a Spring ‘24 initiative of the none greater ETA chapter of the devastating Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., advocating for mental and physical health through her sorority, and a new CEO with her t-shirt business “DeadPresidents” combining her love of fashion with those expressive sayings that speaks for itself. With a heart of gold, model like walk, and creative mind, she is sure to show that she is more than a pretty face. She’s a CEO, rising star in fashion, and of course that devastating diva wearing crimson and cream.
