Hello there dearest potential Patron avid listener and potential gravity denier, Great to be back in the garage Dojo with a fully fit Wrigglesworth again. However as you'll hear it looks like we might need to start pre-booking own own facilities as the sport of power-lifting is REALLY taking off here in the Peak District as a whole new generation of athletes start gearing themselves up for the Pontefract 2048 Olympiad. Of course there's some 'Shitroen' news and Granny Bean makes a suprise appearance in the outdoor queueing area as me a Tom are in a holding pattern with nothing but a packet of crab sticks. Oct 15 2024
Hey there dearest Patron and listener. First lift back with Tom in over a month as he got covid quite a few weeks back poor fella and it's knocked him for six somewhat. The he got a chest infection post 'the whole shebang' making this our first actual lift back together face to face for quite some weeks. It was a delightful bright morning up at Hacksaw Ridge as we scaled Tom's 1 in 1 ski-jump of a garden. We did a bit of lifting, but mainly caught up on important recent events. None more so than the profound experience that is - getting a new washing machine. Enjoy the podcast friends Big Love Rob XXX www.thecomedyvillage.com Learn more about your ad choices. • Episode 63 - LIVE - "Straight Outta Buxton"
    Oct 10 2024
Hey there Dearest Patron and listener. This Episode was recorded Live at The Buxton Festival 2024 On July 21st. It's the first time me and Tom had attempted some sort of live version of the podcast. It was a huge amount of fun and as all of it was 'untried' we ended up getting through about 10% of what we'd planned as the wheels inevitably and comically fell off. The was a "visual element" to a portion of it, so I've edited round those bit and where needed added a small amount of "Audio description". I think it's definitely the beginning of something. Oct 1 2024
Hey there Dearest Listener and potential Patron. First of all, my profoundest apologies for the recent break in output and sporadic podcast episodes. In hindsight, I really should have addressed it personally with you all, but I didn't and feel bad about that. I'm so sorry and hope you know I'd never take your support for granted. We've had a full 'back to school related' bugs that have clobbered us (Me and Tom in succession) and I'm sure you've had your fair share too as the kids go back to school - (The petri dish of germs) and our immune systems are put through another 'Joe Wicks esque' boot camp. So this ep was actually recorded in the summer, it may contain the odd reference to the Euros which obv has happened - no spoilers though in case anyone wants to watch the whole thing on catch-up - but it's full of the usual nonsense for which you come here for your recommended weekly (diahrrea permitting) portion of. Come see Rob live at one of his clubs www.thecomedyvillage.com Huge shout out to Listeners Paul and Sara, who get a mention in this episode and thanks so much for your generous gifts! We love them!
