  • The Things We Do to Ourselves
    Jun 18 2025

Or, more importantly, the things that we can do for ourselves!

In this episode, by way of introduction, we explore the madness of the normal human condition, as a result of which, we impede ourselves, constrain ourselves, belittle ourselves and, indeed, do ourselves actual physical harm.

But, if you're the problem, you are also the solution. Or, to put it another way, if your thoughts are the problem, stop paying them attention. As simple as that.

Yes, the things that we can do for ourselves are far easier - to the point of effortless - far simpler and far more effective than all the stuff that we automatically and habitually do to ourselves.

In this episode, you learn how to do the best for you.

One more thing. I mention a short YouTube video in this episode - how to get a good night's sleep (which is very important for your short-, medium- and long-term wellbeing) - here's that link:

  • Navigating Your Everyday Life
    Jun 11 2025

What? You don't have an everyday life?

That's right and that's what this episode explores.

Nothing is as it seems to the thinking mind: from anger to stress, to jealousy to, well the very reality of the here and now.

As a result, we're normally caught in a reactionary loop where things go from bad to worse and "not so bad" is about as good as it gets.

Until you stop reacting. Yes, that is what this episode is about.

So, what strategies do you need to adopt? Short answer... none.

You just need to (re)develop your ability to turn up to the here and now. Once you turn up for real, everything changes.

And the wonderful thing is that you'll discover results immediately, in the most unlikely of places.

  • How to Achieve Your Goals
    Jun 4 2025

You'll learn exactly how to set your mind to achieve your goals, objectives, dreams and "perfect moments" in this episode.

And, once your mind is set, what you have to do to get there becomes effortless.

As you'll discover, you don't need to know what you need to do, it will become obvious what's best to do as you effortlessly dance through each day, like a ballerina, without putting a foot wrong.

The whole process rests on your expectations and, in this episode, we explain exactly what expectation actually is... and how to give yourself new expectations, great expectations.

And, I should mention, because so many people asked me to talk about it, one of those expectations might be that you lose weight... we talk about that too - but not as much as you might expect!!

  • Big Beautiful Joy
    May 28 2025

Well now, in Episode #213 we explore the essence of life, the essence of living life to the full.

We explore peace of mind and what I describe as "the flat calm of being", of not having a care in the world.

And, as you'll discover, it's all about perspective or, perhaps, not having one - now there's a thought!

Which leads us back into the world of thought - the world of not being, the world that only exists in the warped minds of those lost in thought... most of us.

So, we talk about the experience of being - it's all about experience. Yes, we could have the support of all the science in the world (and we have) to confirm how the world really works but, ultimately, it all boils down to you experiencing it.

And the experience is, in essence, the joy of being in just this moment.

How to do it? Well, you're going to have to listen to the episode, aren't you!

  • Today Is The Day You Wake Up
    May 21 2025

Has it taken me until Episode 212 to explain the step-by-step actions and benefits of meditation?

Well, you'll have to listen to really find out but...

This episode explains the science of meditation - forget the spiritual or religious, we're talking hard science. And we're talking about the impact that an understanding of the hard science has on your understanding and experience of meditation and, more importantly, the very real an powerful impact meditation will have in the cut and thrust of your everyday life - very quickly.

    We're talking weeks.

If there is anything in your life that you don't like - and everyone has, at least, a short list of things that they'd like to change - then meditation is going to provide you with the neurological structure and practical ability to allow those changes happen, allow your perceived dislikes to vanish - just as meditation will allow your self-defeating or negative thoughts to vanish.

This episode gives you the big why - once we know why we're doing anything, whatever it is that we have to do becomes all the easier and more effective.

This Episode 212 is a must if you want to change your life or any aspect of it.

  • You Are At Your Best When You Are Not Thinking
    May 14 2025

Which is easier, to think about doing something, to annoy yourself that you're thinking about doing it instead of doing it, to get frustrated and, perhaps, even guilty that you haven't done what you know you need to do or... to just do what you need to do?

    Which is easier?

You know that answer. What you don't know is that everything, other than doing what needs to be done, is the result of thought, your thought, repetitive thought, the thoughts that hold you back.

And, then, what you probably will not know is that, when you actually go and do what needs to be done, you'll do it through the fog of thought that our brain's "Autopilot" uses to enable us make it through the day unharmed.

Let's go further. You'll probably be aware that you have strengths and weaknesses - probably more weaknesses (there's a reason for that). What you won't be aware of is that neither your strengths nor weaknesses are real. Simply more thinking.

You really need to listen to this episode - it will awaken you to what is truly possible in your life - starting now.

  • Artificial (Lack Of) Intelligence... and Your Soul
    May 7 2025

    Now there's a title!

This episode covers a multitude but, in essence, goes straight to the heart of why we, as humans, are losing our humanity or, as one scientist puts it, "losing our soul".

This hasn't got an awful lot to do with Artificial Intelligence. Instead, it's got to do the "Knowledge" or the accumulation of what passes for knowledge.

In essence, it's all about how thinking divorces from reality, how thinking distances is from our true nature, how accumulated thought - including the 70k thoughts that are swilling around in your head every day - has separated from our "perfect virtue".

On the one hand, truth is, this is a process that's been going on for over 7,000 years.

On the other hand, this is a process that you can not just stop in its tracks but reverse in a couple of weeks, during which you'll have taken your very own evolutionary quantum leap.

    Listen and be...
